Highly detailed unusual Japanese bronze censor of depicting Gama Sennin (toad immortal) sitting atop the censors lid. Three dragons form to make the base. Three protective dragons form the sturdy base. Prominent phoenix is seen just below Gama below the lip of the opening to the censor...

This rare Japanese bronze incense burner is a mid or late Meiji period product. It depicts a crane resting on an upside down lotus leaf. A small snail is sitting on the leaf as well. The hollow body of the crane is used as burner; the wings can be removed to put incense inside. The open beak and small holes under the feathers will let the smoke out. There is a polished bronze inlay crest on the crane’s head and small bronze points on the feathers...

This is Egata used for the Taisho era period. As for this, a ramie spun by hand is used. This is drawn in Tsutsugaki. This is a natural indigo plant, and both sides are dyed. Egata dyed only by indigo dyeing in Okinawa dyeing and weaving is rare. This does not have stain damage at all. The state is good. Size 115cm x 115cm (45.2 "x 45.2")

Japanese keyaki wood tansu originating from the Yamagata region of Japan, with a black lacquer frame, iron hardware, lockplates incised with flora, and a side locking hinged door with a center kan pull mounted on flower plating. Inscriptions on the back reads: "Shibata County, Numabe Village. A gift from Ohtsuki Fukuju. 18th year of Showa (1943), January 15th." and "20th year of Showa (1945) Lunar Calendar, February 15th. Japanese Black Lacquered on woven Bamboo and hinged top Trunk with wooden frame for strength and Black Iron hardware, Ca. Meiji, 1880's, 22" high, 31" wide, 16" deep, Red lacquered leaf shape mon decoration with Kanji Characters, original woven rope handle in the back, and original Rice Paper lining inside. Some black lacquer finish pieces are off from the woven Bamboo surface.

An antique Japanese Okidoko (display stand for a Tokonoma, a reception room) made of Kakinoki (Persimmon) and Keyaki (Zelkova) woods. Originally it was used to showcase Ikebana flower arrangements, special porcelain vases, Japanese sculptures, or seasonal displays. It will work in a contemporary setting to elevate and display any myriad of items.

Framed painting of a warrior with a drawn sword, holding a severed head in his hand. On his back a flag with the image of a skull. Perhaps one of the heroes of the Taiheiki, such as Endo Giemon Masatada. But between Kuniyoshi and other Utagawa artists, several series of heroes were produced. Unsigned. The style of Utagawa Kuniyoshi or Tsukioka Yoshitoshi. Black ink and colors on paper, mounted as a scroll, cut and framed. Japan, Edo period, 19th century.

This early 20th century Japanese ivory netsuke is 1 7/8 inches tall and 1 3/8 inches wide. It depicts an old sage holding a wine cup. A frog and a gourd are beside him. It is signed ¡°Gyokushi¡± and is in great condition.

This is muslin Katazome kimono of the Taisho era. As for this, a pattern is a shadow picture. Children carry a child miniature shrine on their shoulder and enjoy the festival for children. There are a small hole and stain in several places. Size 75cmx64cm (29.5 "x25.1")

Antique Japanese carved wooden ranma (or transom) panel, carved with detail on back its front and back sides, of bamboo stalks with leaves and chrysanthemums. It has a black lacquered frame. Dates from the taisho period c 1920. Size: 69.75" height, 13.5" width

Antique Japanese dark green bronze suiban on four elephants head legs. Ribbed sides with kanji in raised relief (Good Fortune Fuku or Good Fortune) on sides. Key fret design on rim. Signature etched with three characters on bottom, "Tōryūshū".
