This is a beautiful and highly unusual Meiji era vase. It's decorated with gold fish or Oranda swimming around water plants and hanging wisteria. It measures Measures 9 5/8". This is a japanese antique silk Nishijin textile small case from the Edo period.
The dragon and cloud motifs are expressed with gorgeous weaves.
There are light stains, but they are not noticeable. There is slight wear on the corners.
But it's in good shape overall.
