A 19th Century Korean kitchen jar for the storage of honey or syrup. The jar has a thick brown glaze, that thins at the edges of the cut facets, showing the lighter porcelain body of the jar. The Jar is heavily potted and measures about 4 1/2" high x 5" in diameter. The condition is very good with small chips on the inner rim and firing cracks at the bottom. There is no lid. The asking price includes shipping within the USA.
Korean antique shell inlaid black lacquer ichung nong stacking chest in 3 sections on a footed base. Exquisitely decorated all over with ornate scenes of birds, animals and flowers. A Korean, floral-form, moulded brush from the Goryeo dynasty; C12th. Delicately potted with incised decoration to give the impression of a lotus leaf. Covered over-all with a thin celadon glaze, except for the remnants of three kiln supports to the outer base. A beautiful item for the Scholar's desk.

Condition; with a well executed Kintsugi repair to the rim. A couple of abrasions to the glaze on the rim.
