Rare Khmer 12th/13th Century Glazed Stoneware Covered Jar

This rare and unusual jar was made around the late 12th to early 13th century. On first sight it appears cylindrical, but upon removing the cover it is clear that it is not, both body and cover being a little rectangular. There are various decorative ridges surrounding the base of the jar and the cover. Additionally, the cover is decorated in a design featuring a seven-pointed star pattern made from impressed lines and dots...

Well balance potted and very thin large bowl, decorated to the interior with four WaWa among flower sprays, exterior is plain. Covered overall with even pale bluish green Qinghai glaze.
