This is a very unusual Japanese Cloisonne vase that looks more like a porcelain blue and white vase. The vase has a mix of silver wire and wireless enamel work. The vase is heavy and has a nice glossy sheen. The rims have an unusual dark chocolate patina to them. It stands 9 5/8 inches tall and is 6 1/2 inches wide. Overall condition is very good but there are two short lines in the narrow white area just above the scroll on the base.

1930's Chinese Moss Agate Carved Libation Cup with Wood Stand
The cup is 4 inches (10.2 cm) long by 2.6 inches (6.7 cm) wide by 1.85 inches (4.7 cm) tall. The base is 1.22 inches (3.1 cm) tall by 3.11 inches (7.9 cm) long by 2 inches (5.3 cm) wide. The cup weight 74.1 gram, and the base is 32.4 gram.

An assemblage of a figural Baluchari silk sari end panel fragment, showing three European men riding on a railway coach, dating around 1800. Edged with a Kashmiri wool shawl fragment. Once framed and possibly sold as souvenir. Mounted on cardboard. Condition: faded and few tiny stains, border with few small losses. Dimension total: 30.6 x 25.3 cm.

There are a total of eight signs, each with a different "saying" having to do with well wishes. Due to the age of the calligraphy, and the vagueres of the old Chinese language, accurate translations have not been possible for each sign. The stone has a lustrous patina and has a very dramatic ‘splash’ of red on both sides. It has never been carved with a designation and the base has now a shallow flake as a result of an impact on the edge, with a little powdery material showing. Further along there is a tiny bruise to the edge. These could be taken out by reducing the length by 0.4cm. Personally the chip does not worry me...
Beautifully finished antique chinese two section medicine chest from the 19th century, circa 1900. There are 24 small drawers. The drawers each have two sections and are numbered on the back. There are two large drawers that are divided into three sections. They are fitted with round brass drawers pulls. The front is faced with jumu wood. It measures 37" wide 66" tall 18.75" deep.

This pendant is carved in the shape of a peach and pomegranate in an orange-toned semi-translucent stone, having a slightly reddish tone toward the flower end of the pomegranate. The carving is of flattened low-relief form and the stone has a fairly high polish that has mellowed somewhat from wear. Good condition.

Late 19c Chinese Blackwood or possibly Zitan wood brush pot in the classic style with smooth sides and a raised ring at mouth and bottom having 3 low standing low profile feet with drain hole in center bottom of pot. Carved from a single piece of wood, it still retains its original plug which is easily removed for drainage. In excellent condition commensurate with age, it measures 4-5/8" high x 4-1/8" diameter.

19th century netsuke in a shape of a sake cup made out of half of kurumi (walnut shell) with lacquered inside and silver floret shaped fitting with a loop for hanging. Very clever piece, beautiful warm patina, old stable crack lines, well done old kintsugi (gold lacquer) repair. Length 1.4 inches.
