late Edo period (1603-1868) by off-season farmers which would often involve

There have been decorative textiles sewn into squares or rectangular shapes since the Edo period in Japan. The small squares are made for tea ceremonies; the medium to larger sized ones (called fukusa) are used to cover seasonal and ceremonial gifts. This is well potted and high quality of warm and semi transparent white glaze applied overall,
it bears a character "longevity" underglaze blue on the dish. It is a quite large, and
there are some beautiful spots of pink peach blossom colors under white glaze.
