This is an exceptional example of a bronze sword from ancient Luristan (circa 1000BC). It has a choice patina and is very clean overall. The handle would have been inlaid with bone, wood or ivory which is now long gone. Three original rivets remain in the handle and at least one of them moves freely back and forth without falling out. A Pair of antique, 19th-early 20th century, North African -Sahara, tribal Islamic, cast bronze saddle stirrups in Turkish Ottoman manner. Each with a flaring base plate narrowed at the center and decorated with a pierced designee on the center, flanked by shaped sides rising to an arch with loop for suspension.

This silver box, of lobed medallion form, has a hinged lid decorated with geometric and floral repousse work in prominent relief. The sides are incised with floral elements with a caligraphic cartouche in the front. The base is also incised with a floral design surrounded by a band of small repeating triangles. The entire box is fashioned from solid sheet silver. There is some wear and light tarnish.
