Lime box of rectangular shape, with its lid, and four compartments also with lids. Bronze, with fine silver inserts representing floral and geometric designs. Islamic art, early 19th century. Length: 14.7 cm. Height: 7.3 cm. Silver inserts partly missing and some erosion due to age, otherwise very good condition.

A very rarely offered complete polychrome pottery figural vessel, Aztec / triple alliance Empire, c. 1200-1500 AD.
Interesting vessel that is both anthropomorphic and zoomorphic. A bulbous vessel with the figure having small limbs and with a small head with facial tattoos, probably a chieftain or Shaman. He is sort of holding on to the jar backwards with his diminutive hands. On the side of the vessel a protruding Feline or Dog head.

Glazed Gnathia ware oinochoe with trefoil spout and arched handle. The body decorated with leaf-sprays suspended from a band with egg pattern and dots.
The intended black color of the vase changed to a warm red-brown due to excessive heat. Standing on a small ring foot.

Pair Japanese porcelain vases decorated in various shades of blue under glaze to show a view of Mount Fuji. On the bottom of both vases is the Fukagawa factory mark, and the vases dates to the early 20th Century. Each vase measures 10" high x 7 1/2" in diameter.
