Early People’s Republic of China molded, green glass vase (emulating celadon jade) and in the style of a Han Dynasty Hu, circa 1960 to 1970. Although millions of decorative items were produced during this period very little has survived to this day, especially anything made of glass. This piece is “as new” condition, with the original label, no damage whatsoever. Today it is easier to find original Han Hu then one of these. H: 28cm/11in and D: 20cm/7.9in.
Late Qing Dynasy (1880s 10 1911) century Chinese Peking glass seal in cylindrical shape. Wonderful simple piece appropriate for a scholar’s table, very pleasant finish to the surface. Transparent glass with the slightest pink tinge. The bottom is carved with two raised characters that can be translated as EASTERN GARDEN, red seal paste in the grooves. Imprint of the seal is shown on Enlargement 1. Height 2 3/8 inches, diameter 1/2 inches.

A rare large Chinese carved wooden figure of a Goldfish. The fish is covered with gold lacquer over a brown lacquer base. It has bulging black and white glass eyes, fins, scales, and a large fan shaped tail. The underside shows the brown lacquer base coat.
