Japanese Early Meiji Period Gosho Ningyo (Palace Doll) depicted with a gift box with Daruma and featuring a crane. He is wearing a fitted silk crepe haragake bib tied at the neck and waist. He has a delightfully rendered face with a bright expression, slightly open mouth, and painted features. His forehead has a painted auspicious mizuhiki (presentation ribbon). He is covered overall in a fine white gofun (oyster shell lacquer). 4.5h x 4.5w inches, 11.5h x 11.5w cm.

Antique Japanese choba tansu (merchant's chest), made of kiri (paulownia) wood, iron hardware, from the Mikuni area of Japan, Meiji Period, (1868-1912). Size: 41" high x 36" wide x 16 3/5" deep.

Charming Qing Dynasty Chinese pot used for warming wine or saki. Hot water would be poured into the main container and the small pot would hold the wine. Made of pewter or low grade silver with bronze fitting. each side of the outer pot has minor scratches on the surface.

DESCRIPTION: A Chinese export filigree bar pin fashioned from three hardstone discs, two of jade and one carnelian, mounted in delicate, decorative openwork made from thin twisted wire. Most likely dating to the Victorian era (1837 – 1901) when such pins were fashionably worn at the neck fastening two collars, the pin is in very good condition with no chips to the stones and slight wear to the wirework. DIMENSIONS: 3 ¾” long (9.5 cm) x 1 3/8” wide (3.5 cm).

An antique, 18th –19th century Indian, finely cast, copper alloy figure depicting an Indian Hindu deity, Rama. The figure is shown standing on a square plinth, with hands on hips. Rama is wearing a long dhoti tied at the waist with a sash falling down the sides of the legs. The upper torso is adorned with necklaces, and the arms have armlets and bracelets. The face is flanked by elongated earlobes and is topped by a high conical headdress...

Antique Chinese cloisonne clock, made of bronze and inset all over with beautiful cloisonne, oval shape base and top, stands on 6 feet, surrounded with 10 cloisonne columns (5 on each side), original glass doors on front and back, clock face painted with tiny flower garlands, glass door in back reveals pendulum and mechanism which still seems to function smoothly, c. 1900. Size: 18 1/2" high x 13" wide x 6" deep.

Fascinating Taisho Period C.1920 tea ceremony bronze tripod incense censor. Almost art deco in design and feel. The Murashi-do bronze was dipped in hot oi at firing to create the mottled patinated colorings. The handles are elephant heads. The highlight of the piece is the very rare and exquisite square mouth and lid. The lid is adorned with a shishi lion which covers the hole the incense smoke wafts out of. Simply superb. Chinese Porcelain red glazed bowl dating to the 20th Century. The bowl has a maker's mark on the bottom and added spot drilled markings on the interior. The bowl appears to be a communal eating bowl with an owners marking. The interior mark translates to "battle ax" which may indicate it was used by a military man. The bowl measures 2 1/4" high x 6 1/4" in diameter. Condition: The condition is excellent with the added mark and some kiln flaws. Free shipping within the USA.

Description:

A Houtien jade pendent was in flat cicada shape.
With original drilling holes at the tip for hanging, the jade piece was covered with unique black stone crust comparing to milky white tint of the pebble.
It was preserved in very good condition with one minute restoration to the lower right rim and some frets in a limited way.
They were caused from old age.
