Antique Japanese large bronze suiban, or shallow dish for the display of viewing stones and small plants. The legs have been wonderfully casted to resemble gnarled vines, or perhaps a Buddha's hand citron fruit. One side of the suiban displays a raised dragon flying through incised winds. The other side shows two lounging tigers...
Set of two (2) Chinese porcelain tea cups decorated with blue linear designs and flowers in shades of red, blue, and greenish yellow with long stems and pretty green leaves. The inside bottom of each cup has an orange flower between two yellow flowers within a blue ring. Mark on bottom reads "Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi" or "Great Qing Dynasty, Qianlong Period, Made".

This is a rare Yabu Meizan Censer. It is not decorated with gold details and painting but is still an attractive item with its rich turquoise colored glaze. The first and second images show how it appears under normal lighting. It probably does not have the original cover but this silver one is more functional than the ivory covers we have seen. The silver lids fit perfect.
This is a beautiful Japanese cloisonne Vase from the 1920's. It was created with a profusion skilled of work. It was made by Hayashi or Ando. It stands 9 3/4 inches tall and is 4 3/4 wide. Rims are silver and stamped. Bottom rim a tiny indentation in the silver but this vase is in outstanding condition.
Beautiful bronze flower vase, long and cylindrical. Has a gorgeous boss relief of carp emerging from water in a delicate sweeping motion around the vase.

An overall design of plum blossoms and buds on a rich blue background. The base and mouth are rimmed in silver. There is no maker’s mark, but similar works with generally the same pattern were produced by the artist Hayashi Tanigoro in the Taisho period, 1912-1926. Very good condition, having only a very small dent in the edge of the silver rim.

Japanese iron lantern that comes in four pieces: The base, which stands on three slightly curved legs, the caged middle with a hinged door, the lid, and the finial on top.

This is a fine 12 inch Japanese Cloisonne vase done with the very popular draping wisteria pattern. The enamel and wire silver wire work in the wisteria decorations are of a high standard. From the scroll work it appears to be an early Ando, Ito or Kinuken piece. The form is unusual and the piece is better than the images show. Condition is excellent.
Antique Japanese Ikebana flower basket, made with split bamboo of spiraling rope design with interlocking bamboo handle. The boy has a natural flowing hourglass shape. Stunning Original condition with no issues.

Massively huge Dark Bronze Japanese Temple Bell Bowl, with ridged edges along its rim and raised, scale-like pattern around its bottom. . Japanese Temple Bell Bowl was used during chanting, or as an indication of a change in time or activity. This is truly the largest bell bowl I have ever seen. Three stamped kanji characters "Kin Ryu ____?" on rim translates as Golden Dragon _____? (last one is illegible). Excellent condition and sound.

Exceptional wagumi Japanese style free flowing bamboo flower basket, Taisho Period c. 1920. Masterful weves using big strips of susudake bamboo aged in old Japanese farmhouses from the irori smoke. Height 36cm; width 32cm.
These 3 small oil lamps were brought back to the US by a Baptist missionary who lived and traveled extensively throughout China. Oil lamps like these were used for light source extensively throughout rural China by poor peasants. Simply made, presumed cut from scraps of tin and soldered into shape.. the lids come off for filling with oil and some original home made wicks remain in place.
The tallest is 5 inches high...

This boat-shaped basket, designed for flower arrangements, is well-crafted from strips of bamboo that is stained a rich, dark reddish-brown and had acquired areas of further dark patina from age and use. The ship form probably represents a so-called treasure ship (takarabune) signifying wishes for good fortune and is usually displayed during the New Year’s season...
Exceptionally beautiful Japanese basket for ikebana (art of flower arranging). The handle is made with natural burl Cherry branch. The body is globular with large woven bamboo and a wide, flat rim.
