Description:
A Houtien jade rabbit was well rendered in simple form.
In characteristics of early periods, the jade pebble was in greasy feel and was suffused with brownish incursions in portions.
Stone crackles were also resulted due to age.
An original drilling hole was in the middle of the body on the side.
It was used for hanging.
On one side beside the hole, there was a shallow drilling scar left for unknown reason...

A small food bowl in the shape used today for rice in North Asia (Japan, China, etc.) The shape would have been prized in its day in Japan as an export ware of Thailand used as a Tea Bowl for matcha (Matcha Chawan.) Excellent condition, still suitable for matcha use today.

Well carved and painted in white powder, orange, blue and black on solid wood,
a depicting a seated boy on the pedestal in blue robes with red trim, holding orage fruit, peach.
Itβs in very fine condition without any chips but ordinally cracks with this age.

A rare and very finely enamelled deep dish depicting two cranes, a pine tree and lingzhi fungus (all symbols for long life) and two bats (good luck). The base carries the six character iron red reign mark of the Guangxu emperor and this item was made during his reign (1875-1908). Condition - there are three 2.5cm (1 inch) light hairlines running from the rim (please view enlargements); no further damages and no restoration. 5cm (2 inches) deep; 24.6cm (9.6 inches) diameter.

Aweidah Gallery is pleased to offer this EXTREMELY RARE- ancient LARGE biblical black pottery oil lamp with four nozzles. A large filling-hole, whose rim is formed as a ledge with a ridge. The handle is a wide strip with two lengthwise grooves forming three raised mouldings, the nozzles are elongated with an almost straight end and finely scraped sides. Impressed circles and rows of other impressions ornament the nozzles.
