Very rare Tang Dynasty (618CE to 907CE) terra cotta wall tile depicting the face of a Zhemushou, a fierce guardian earth spirit meant to ward off evil. It is a trapezoidal shape with much of original red and black pigments intact. Some loss to the lower lip (please see enlargements). Lower W: 19cm/7.8in, upper W: 16cm/6.1in and H: 20cm/9in.
A Chinese Xingware Bowl. Diameter approximately 15.3 cm. In good condition.
Extremely rare Chinese early ceramic of Xing ware small shallow bowl, covered overall with white creamy ivory glazed. The base with single character of 'Guan' mark, which is very rare to find. From the other examples of Xingyao, it's probably late Tang to Northern Song Dynasty. Condition is perfect with no any chip, no any crack and free from any restoration. Diameter: 12,5 cm and Height: 4 cm.

Depicted striding on his integral base, wearing a tripartite wig, fronted with ureas, with his left foot forward, with arms along his side, wearing the lotus crown and with suspension loop behind. 3 1/4 inches high. Mounted. Said to have been purchased on the Paris art market @ 15 years ago...
The small size of the figures (23-29 cm) makes this an interesting and rare group. The moulded figures still have much of their painting intact. The come in different sizes with different faces. Originally they carried wooden attributes or weapons.
Condition: normal age wear, a few repairs (one arm and some toes, see pictures), overal in very good condition. Every figure comes with an acrylic stand

This Mayan alabaster poison bottle dates to the Classic Mayan period C300AD-600AD. It is 2 3/4" x 1 3/4". and has no repairs or restoration. It was found in Peten, Guatemala. It is from the well known Willard Leutze collection.
