Antique Chinese blue and white porcelain snuff bottle with very small and intricate scenic painting with a young man and his wife holding their child, standing in a garden. The artist would have started with a plain white base, painted his design with a mixture of finely ground cobalt oxide and water, and then used a transparent glaze all over. The bottle has a topper made of Jade. 19th century

Chinese porcelain snuff bottle in the likeness of a playful lion, also known as 'Shi' or 'Foo Dog', with a yellow body, light green tail and mane, brown, bushy eyebrows, and chewing on a xiù qiú ball with flower designs and a green ribbon tied around it. The front of the xiù qiú is the opening to the snuff bottle and has a Jade stopper. 19th century

Large Song Celadon bowl, olive green in color. In very good condition without chips or cracks. There is an incised flower pattern in the bottom of the bowl. Otherwise, small fritting /granulation is evident in the bottom of the bowl and a couple of these may have been compromised/worn down. Nice overall symmetrical shape and crackle in the glaze is quite faint. Diameter: 7 plus inches and 3 inches in height.

Chinese rose medallion porcelain vase with with 2 dragons. Colors are rich and vibrant. Dating Early Republic it is in excellent condition with just a little expected wear to the gold and measures a little over 6.5 inches high by 3.5" diameter.
Tsuba with openwork design of a falcon resting on the branch of an old pine tree. Iron, with remnants of gilding on the falcon eye and on the tree leaves. The tsuba is unsigned. Japan, early Edo period. Height: 3 3/8" (8,7 cm. Oxidation, otherwise very good condition.

This Chinese golden colored Sha-green is large by shagreen standards...it spans almost 7 inches at the longest point front to back, and stands just over 3 inches high. The top clearly has some scuffs and loss to the hide, which for me enhance the beauty of the box.
The box is hinged at the back and the inside is lined with leather.
