Qing light colored celadon, crackle glaze plate circa 18th century. This has a filled chip with gold leaf. Nice cracquelure. The original owner had incised their name on the glaze, which I have highlighted with a bit of baby powder. D: 22.7cm/8.9in and H: 4.3cm/1.7in.

This is tsutsugaki horse Cover textile of the Edo era. It is made of hand-spun and hand-woven and natural indigo dyed cotton. It has a thin stain. It has several small holes and repair traces. However, it is in a very good state.

Antique tansu made from kiri wood, with heavy iron hardware, kakute shaped drawer handles, a locking bar to keep the three middle drawers secure, iron locks with flower design on two bottom drawers, one small and one large, and one small drawer with a kan or ring-shaped drawer pull. Meiji age c1880.

This piece is a nice example of a rat-tail dagger from the ancient middle East. It has a subtle, wide midrib and flattened blade. The tang is rectangular. There is no damage or repair to the piece and it is in overall excellent condition. The weight of the piece is 132 grams and the length is roughly 23 cm. This is a great opportunity to acquire a quality antiquity at a reasonable price.
Interesting stamp seal from the Urartu Kingdom of the bell-shaped type, in translucent Alabaster, very attractive! Seal is carved with a complicated pattern.

Japanese Antique keyaki (em) wood isho tansu (clothing chest) from the Sendai area. Top portion of the chest has two small drawers (a rare configuration). There are 7 exterior drawers of various sizes and a safe box with a hinged door (with key) covering three small interior drawers. Hardware includes large lock plates with chrysanthemum mon and ornate pierced carved leaves.

This is an intact and very fine example of this ware which, to me, seems to incorporate a human torso, standing with arms and legs akimbo. The colors are quite vivid, with an aubergine purple in addition to the black outlining. The piece is well and thinly potted, standing some 7" in height.It swells out to some 7" in diameter, measured across the area of the two rings ("lugs").

Mesa Verde squash effigy canteen ca. 1000 ad., it is approx: 7-1/2"high X 6"wide, it is whole except for handle was broken off about half way down handle and re-glued back on, the very tip of handle the crack was restored. I have been told that they intentionally stained the body with cactus juice to give it a ripen squash look, this canteen would have had a yucca plug in it to hold the water in as they traveled.
