This is a large bowl with deep sides rising from a short flared foot gradually for the first two-thirds, then steeply to a lightly indented vertical lip. The interior of the bowl is covered with glossy iron-rich black glaze with five lustrous russet-silvery glaze streaks, like a star, radiating from the base with the black glazed background...
Antique Japanese cha tansu (tea display cabinet), fully carved all from boxwood, with motifs of various flowers such as peony and chrysanthemum, cranes, phoenixes, sparrows, and other small birds with clouds, carved branch "pillar" with cascades cherry blossoms, a highly ornate export furniture piece.

This is a finely hand-carved 19th century Japanese Netsuke depicting a Karako wearing his typical Chinese robe, who is carrying his little brother on his shoulders. Younger karako's hair puffs inlaid with darn horn. Rich patina. Unsigned.
Netsuke measures 0.82 inches (2.1cm) wide, and 1.72 inches (4.4cm).
Netsuke is in excellent condition, as may be seen in the posted photos.
A finely preserved lead bust or head of a young aristocrate, 1st. century AD.
Interestingly the features of this bust identical to the features of the young Caligula and surely Julio-Claudian period.

Rare and fine quality small Chinese cinnabar box; shows an individual in a boat on a lake surrounded by a wooded and mountainous landscape; exquisite carving throughout; minor losses; good condition
This is an 18th century, or early 19th century Balinese iron buckle, decorated with serpent motifs with gold inlay. There is some age-related rubbing with associated loss to the inlay, as would be expected. There is an inlaid calligraphic inscription to the back of the "fastener," which I have not had translated. The pieces measure, variously, 2-5/8" X 2-1/2" for the buckle, and 2-1/2" X 1-1/2" for the "fastener." The listing is for both pieces.

Richly glazed in deep blue this Chinese jar has a dark brown glazed interior to accommodate liquid storage. The lid has an embossed Chinese symbol for longevity which suggests to me the jar's intent was to store something special for your health and well being. Featuring a wonderful globular shape, the jar and lid are in excellent condition. Measures 4 inches high, 5" diameter. Dates early 20th C

A very rare 17th Century excavated bronze RECLINING BUDDHA, Size: 14 cm x 4.5 cm (5.5" x 1.75"). Naturally formed verdigris patina. Good condition, no damage or restoration whatsoever. Very difficult to find this size reclining Buddha!

Late Taisho - early Showa (1920s) small Japanese 2-toned chosen matsu (Korean pine wood) okimono of a floating mandarin duck. Perfectly captured essence of the bird, excellent sense of volume, skillfully carved in characteristic style of Hida school with clever use of wood colors and structure to add to the charm of the piece. Eyes inlaid in dark horn, superb patina. Signed SHOO on the bottom. Length 2 1/4 inches.
Black - brown iron glaze on a stoneware body. South China thirteenth to fourteenth centuries.
