Chinese Song to possibly Yuan dynasty brown glazed stoneware jar with horizontal ribbed body moulded in high relief with a dragon chasing the pearl of wisdom. Slender bronze axe head with rounded cutting edge and eyelet on the narrow side.
The upper lobes bent inwards to better fit the forked shaft, which was fixed with twine or rawhide. Hook-like projections on the neck.
Palstave is the typical axe form of the Middle Bronze Age, 1500-1275 BC. Late palstave types tend to have narrower blades, as in our case.

This is a Japanese antique natural Safflower dyeing katazome cotton & shibori kimono of the edo-Meiji era.
There is a change of color that oozes out of safflower dyed cotton. but there is no damage.
They are not disturbing, and as a whole it is in very good condition.
Around the hem and the part of the okumi and the red part of the cuff are muslin.
Shibori under the sleeve is cotton.

19th century Asakusa school staghorn netsuke of obihasami type carved with a couple of bamboo stals. The hooks at the top and bottom of the piece go around the edges of obi - a sash holding a kimono. Simple clever piece typical of Asakusa school, warm patina, darker porous areas as is usual with staghorn. Length 4.14 inches.
Antique Japanese sculpture of a hawk coming to rest on top of a gnarled rock. Wings spread wide, the hawk grips the rock with it's talons. Each feather is intricately carved.

A massive solid silver or heavy silver plate bronze mirror, Cambodia, Khmer Empire, ca. 12th. century AD:
Very large and with a beautiful silver patina. It features a perfect circular form and a recessed side with concentric incised circles tracing the border. Objects like this one were signs of prestige, owned by the wealthy and elite in Khmer society.

A Chinese porcelain dish decorated with famille verte enamel. The center of the dish is decorated with two birds in a garden amidst peony and pine beneath a ruyi border. The wide, everted rim is decorated with phoenixes and peonies on a stippled ground, beneath the molded 'pie-crust' edge.
