A large standing esoteric protector deity known as Gozanze Myoo. The piece has darkened from the smoke of the goma offerings done for the image. The statue is posed doing the Gozanze mudra, which is the mudra of subjugation. Gozanze Myoo's name literally means the vanquisher of the three realms, where this myoo destroys foolishness and anger. A set of five ceramic tea cups with box used to serve sencha produced by Otagaki Rengetsu (1791-1875). The cups are in the form of lotus leaves and the exterior of the cups contain an inscription by Rengetsu, which generally translates: The willows, not in its disarrayed form, the branches not touching, yet branching out into the world. Age: Late 19th century. Size: diameter 2.3" height 1.5"

An extremely beautiful, large and impressive white glazed covered box with moulded decoration. Yuan Dynasty ( 1279 - 1368 ) Fujian ware, probably Anxi or Dehua. A similar piece is in the collection of the Baur Foundation and in Köln in the Museum für Ostasiatische Kunst. Another similar example is illustrated in the catalogue " The Tectus Collection", preface Rosemary Scott. Diameter : 14,5 cm. H : 8,8 cm. Condition : Perfect.

Statue of Buddha Sakyamuni, in monk's robes, his hands in "bhumisparsa mudra", sitting cross-legged on a tripod throne. Bronze, with remnants of the original gilding. Thailand, Ayutthaya Period, circa 16th/17th century. Height: 6 1/8" (15,5 cm. The piece is nicely mounted on a custom plexi stand. Very good condition.

Antique Japanese cloisonne vase with a Chinese archaic style decoration of dragons and other stylized animals on a variegated green ground. There are two decorative bands, one around the neck and one around the body. Silver mark and Ando mark on bottom. It measures 12" tall the base is 5" wide the mouth is 7" wide. Original wooden box (tomobako).

Very well hollowed out and beautiful moss agate snuff bottle, with a "tao tie" mask carved in relief on each side. Bronze stopper with turquoise inlays, bone spoon. China, 19th century. It is echigo-jyofu hemp Indigo dye kasuri Child kimono of the Edo era81800-1867). The kimono is very rare, and It is excellent and am delicate, and the technique is very beautiful. Finely carved foo dog playing with a small ball done in Jade. The fur of the foo dog is carved in stylized scrolled motif with detail work showing each fur. Foo dogs are an auspicious motif in East Asia and often paintings and sculptures are produced. Age: 20th century. Size: height 1.3" width 1.75" length 2.5"

Up for sale is a bolt of antique chinese silk brocade, yardage with roundel of auspicious symbols for Manchu man's robe, 19th or early 20th century. A lot of material, more than enough to make a big robe. 2 groups of 3 small roundels are for making the horse-shoe cuffs as pointed out in the picture. 22nd picture below show a piece of old paper sticks to the corner and a inked seal. Overall is in excellent condition, shinny, no wear, no stain or fading, color is bright...
