A very nice Uruk period West-Mesopotamian stamp seal, dating to the 4th. mill. BC.
The seal finely decorated with a stylized Ibex or Capride, oval-round shape with higher central gable.
Size: c. 25 mm. and 8 mm. tall.
Condition: Nice Very fine, with minor deposits in the details.

A very rare and interesting amuletic cylinder seal with top loop, Western Mesopotamia, c. 2200-1600 BC.
The amulet seal is shaped as a tied knot of robe with a loop at the top, engravings on the sides. We have never had such a piece in stock, high unusual!
Size: Substantial - 38 mm. tall and 11 mm. wide.
Condition: Nice VF, intact with deposits and cleaning marks.

Very well hollowed out and beautiful moss agate snuff bottle, with a "tao tie" mask carved in relief on each side. Bronze stopper with turquoise inlays, bone spoon. China, 19th century. Height (without stopper)/ 2 1/2" (6,4 cm). Tiny chips around rim, otherwise very good condition. NOTE: this snuff bottle is so light that is is supposed to float on the surface of water...
A finely casted Hindu statue of a deity possibly depicting the god, Vishnu. The folds of the robe, the lotus petals, and detailing of the objects can be seen throughout the statue. Age: 19th-20th century Size: length 1.75" width 1.75" height 4.68"
19th century Japanese chaire (tea caddy for storing powdered green tea used in tea ceremony) in a shape of a storage jar with narrow waist and wider shoulders, and 2 mock ring handles. Old Bizen ware with characteristic dark brown clay bearing the marks of potter’s fingers as he was turning the piece on a wheel. Typical Japanese elliptical lines on the bottom left by a string used to cut the item off the turning wheel. Possibly marked by the bottom - see the detail on Enlargement 1...

Antique Japanese tansu chest, made all of kiri (paulownia) wood. The tansu has four large drawers, the bottom two of which are locked with a vertical locking bar also made of kiri wood. The two top drawers have wonderful large iron lock plates in the shape of peony flowers with raised flower buds. The corners of each drawer are reinforced with chrysanthemum shaped ironwork. The lower right side has a safe box with a hinged door reinforced with iron cross bracing...

A rectagular bifacial stamp seal with a large handle in a black serpentine stone. The seal is carved with an impression of an animal in the handle as well as a larger depiction in the base of a deity standing on the back of a four-legged animal. Unidentified objects on either side of the deity, perhaps symbolizing weapons. Northern Mesopotamia, and probably later 2nd. millenium BC.

It’s of flattened circular form, brushed painted freely overall with white slip
over a grayish white glaze, the slop shoulder and the tall straight neck supporting
a lipped mouth, resting on a raised foot ring, probably accidently redish iron spotted
a near foot side and mouth rim during firing which appears more naïve attraction...
