A collectors lot of 5 stamp seals in different kind of stones incl. serpentine and chlorite, made in semi-autonomous Neo-Hittite states of Syria and Levante, during the Neo-Assyrian period, early 1st. millenium BC.
The seals mostly of the tall pyramid shape, but there's also a 4-side rectangular seal, engraved with symbols on all 4 sides and vertically drilled. Another fine seal is cones-shaped and with a high relief engraving of the base.

Bottle with a long stretched neck harmoniously twisted in the shape of a swan's neck. The glassmaker shaped his work with gadroons, a painter decorated it with golden flowers. This type of object was a teardrop intended to receive the tears of ladies when their husbands went to war. The almond shape of the edge adapts perfectly to the eye. These vases were made from the 18th century and throughout the 19th. especially in 1900. Copies are probably still made...
Early 19th century suigaraake (ashtray) netsuke with round silvered bronze body, cloisonne outside and a swinging loop for hanging. Excellent early work in terms of Japanese cloisonne, functional netsuke shape, design of flowers among scrolling vines, matte finish, beautiful wear and patina, original pitting typical for the period, some filled areas along the rim as can be seen on photos. Diameter 1 1 5/8 inches.
The rectangular pouch made of different Persian silk fabrics with cotton lining and two buttons. The kohl etui worked of ruby velvet with raised embroidery in couched metal lamellae, the sides are sewn together. Women's pouches in Qajar Persia were used for different purposes as storing kohl, veil, prayer stone, comb, quran etc. Please visit www.qajarwomen.org. Condition: traces of usage and age, few thin areas, lining with tiny holes. Dimension c.: 8.7 x 8.5 cm, 13 x 6.5 cm.

A finely cast figure of a Godess, likeley 'Uma', standing in samabhanga, wearing a sampot with a elaborate hems, holding ritual objects in both hands, richly adorned with jewelry. Her strongly featured face with almond-shaped eyes, and full lips, the head surmounted by a large and elaborate pointed crown.
Quite exceptional for the richness of details and the fine cast. With a very attractive green patina with earthern deposits...

Rare libation bowl with twelve egg-shaped cavities around the central omphalos. The recesses served to hold votive eggs.
On the inside of the segmented rim twelve neatly modeled youthful heads with Phrygian caps.

Almost square hand-made embroidery. On a background of green satin silk two lion dogs, or foo dogs, are playing with a ball and each other between peonies and other flowers, next to a rock formation, a bat in the upper right corner. They are embroidered by hand with bright colors of silk in straight stiches and looped stiches, the lions detailed and outlined with gold-thread, which are twisted silk threads wrapped in thin gold foil.
