This antique Chinese small wooden tobacco container would have been looped on a belt. It is probably ethnic minority, and hand carved by its intended user. Such folk art artifacts are now rare and hard to find on the market.

The letters made of copper plates originally attached to a votive wooden tablet dedicated from its worshipper named Yamato Sue to the Miyoshi-jinja shrine in Akita prefecture. Meiji period (1868-1912). Letter of Kami (God): approx. 11 x 13cm (4.33 x 5.11in). Besides, as seen the last three photos, changeable to "God of Clay", "Eros", and "Excellent luck" by free anagram arrangement...

Japanese Brown Cafe au Lait color Lacquer nut shape Ojime, 11/16" high, 11/16" wide, 1/2" deep, hollow inside with large holes on the top and the bottom to tightening to connect to Netsuke. The condition is good.

Very large Burmese hammered repousse copper-brass-bronze alloy bowl, with traces of silver, decorated with 3 relief panels depicting flowers and the engraving "Thiri Mingalar Monastery" as well as stylized scroll foliage. Such bowls were primarily used in Buddhist ceremonies. 19th Century. Nice natural aged patina. Good condition. Size: H. 16 cm. x 30 cm. diameter at center (H. 6.5" x 12" diameter).

Antique Japanese low-fire ceramic mask of Ebisu, one of the Seven Lucky Gods in Japanese folklore. Ebisu, the god of fishing and good fortune, is often depicted with the god Daikoku. This mask wears his usual joyful expression and is perfect for wall mounting. Meiji Period 1868-1912. Size: 14" height, 13.5" width

Late Meiji period (1890s to 1912) Japanese wooden kushi (hair comb) with black and gold lacquer decoration of flowers among scrolling vines, design continuing onto the back. Beautifully made out of dark wood with dense texture allowing for very fine teeth, superb fine lacquering, wonderful work in Japanese taste, in excellent condition. Length 3.94 inches.

Japanese antique box constructed of Kiri (paulownia) wood with original dark red lacquer finish. The top iron handle may be used to carry the box, and it also opens the top shallow compartment for safely keeping calligraphy papers. Below, the main body of the box holds two long drawers originally used for ink stones, brushes, and other scholar's implements.

This antique traditional tribal dagger was made and used by the Manding people who are indigenous to the Western Sudan region of Africa. The dagger is 10 inches long and has a leather covered pommel. The blade is dulled and rusted with a small bend at the tip. The original matching scabbard has traditionally woven worked leather decoration with belt loop and tassel.

Lovely double gourd, Dehua porcelain small vase, circa late Qing or Republic Era.. Please note the third enlargement the surface appears to be smudged, this area originally had a handle that broke of and has been polished down. H: 11.3cm/4.4in and D: 6.8cm/2.9in. A simple well balanced elegant piece, suitable for a sing rose. Basic stand included.
