Chinese yixing serving set decorated with enameled butterfly and flower motive. 40cm comlete diameter. 16,5cm center dish diameter. Good conditions except three dishes has small chipped on the corner. no crack, no hairlines and free from any restorations.

An interesting Chinese kesi fabric depicting a scene in a courtyard with taihu style rocks set within the garden of women and children suspiciously looking at something or someone. This peach-shaped kogo (incense box) is made of fine kinuta celadon from one of the great masters of the Meiji era—Suwa Sozan. Antique Japanese choba-ko tansu (small merchant's chest), made of natural Kiri (paulownia) hardwood (original finish). The chest holds a large open compartment with a single shelf behind two large doors, lined with 7 outer drawers. Each drawer opens by a squared, black iron handle. The smallest bottom-left drawer acts as a money collection box, with a coin slot right above it.

Rare Kiyomizu Nodate Summer tea bowl with fantastic hand-painting, made during the Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912).

This summer bowl is in great condition with no chips or cracks.

A framed Christian religious painting of Mary with a winged angel bearing the signature and seal mark of Li Tian Duo. This item was painted in China during the either the late Qing or early Republic period. The early 20th Century frame is age worn but the painting is in excellent condition with no stains or damages. Antique Chinese tasseled blue silk pouch, with embroidered flowers, a butterfly, and a rooster. The character below the embroidery butterfly is "Shou", for longevity while the butterfly is a symbol for love. A rooster symbolizes good luck and fortitude.

This generously proportioned chawan (16cm in diameter) shows nice age, especially around the kodai, and likely dates from the early to mid 20th century. The base is unglazed showing the rich molded clay, contrasting nicely with the maroon and black glaze pooled beautifully around the edges. The badarai (horse watering basin) shape is very attractive and in this case especially fitting given the uncommonly large proportions...
