Burgundy red velvet ground with the design of a mosque with minarets below a tughra. Padded embroidery in couched metal thread. Condition: doubtless a fragment, the basic fabric sewn together, the metal threads with patina and some missing and loose ones. Dimension: 35 cm x 33 cm.

Chinese underglaze blue porcelain bowl. In very good condition, no cracks, no hairlines. There are abrasions on the raised areas of the outer rim, see photos. Painting is excellent and this is a beautiful piece to add to your collection. Measures 4.5 inches diameter by 1.5" high. Dates circa 1800

A rectangular pouch made of sewn together termeh wool weaves with boteh motif. Decorated with gold braids and raised embroidery in couched metal lamellae. Silk lining. This is a fantastic, ancient bronze spear or dagger attribute to the Marlik Culture circa 1200-900 BCE. It has a beautiful leaf-shaped blade with strong midrib. The tang has the classic 90 degree bend with knob on the end still intact. It measures nearly 25 cm in length and weighs 192 grams. It has a fantastic and lively patina. The metal is strong and stable. There are no signs of repair or restoration. This piece is from the collection of the late John Piscopo.

This is a great little bronze spear from the Dong Son culture in ancient Southeast Asia. It measures 210mm and weighs 116 grams. It has a long flat blade with flared edges which is a little unusual compared to other common types of Dong Son spears. There is some damage to the socket area but overall the piece is solid and stable.

This is an excellent bronze spear from the Dong Son culture of ancient Southeast Asia. This piece was cleaned when found, which is common of early 20th century excavations. It has a rich brown patina and is heavy,solid and stable. It measures 224 mm in length and weighs 184 grams.

 

This plate was made in the famous kiln Jindezhen in 17th century Ming dynasty by the order from Japan. Japanese dilletante generally don't like the perfection of the art works. Japanese intellectuals in the old time had been enjoyed the fault on the edge , they called it "mushikui" as worm-eaten...

Circa 1820, Chinese Export blue and white porcelain helmet creamer. Featuring a hand painted continuous scene of a Chinese village landscape with boats on water and intricate borders, it is in excellent antique condition, showing only a little wear to the gold trim at the rim and top of handle. Measures: 5 inches high, 3.25" wide, 5" long.

A rare early smaller bronze figure of Krishna dancing on the serpent, South Indian, perhaps Tamil Nadu, c. 17th.-18th. century or earlier.
