This woven Tibetan container would have been used to hold a pair of wooden tea bowls...there is an interior separator (removable) which allows for the separation of tea bowls.

Bowls would have been packed into container such as this when traveling... and from the condition of this one...it has traveled many times.
The container is 6 inches diameter at the top and 4 inches high...well aged fair condition...
18C Chinese Export Famille Rose Floral Goose Porcelain Plate
Plate is decorated with a landscape scene of peony flowers and a couple of geese, the border with four single peony flowers, the reverse with four flower patterns.

A fine Song celedon jarlet olive green in color. Symmetrical with a nice shape and fine sheen to the glaze. Small chip to one side. Dimensions: diameter of 2.25 inches, height 1.50 inches.
Floor cushion cover (zabuton-gawa) made of choma (ramie) whose warps and wefts are hand-plied. It has beautiful katazome (stencil-resist-dye) bamboo motif. The white ground katazome is called "Jishiro" which is rather rare than indigo ground one. It has also nice cloth with stripes for lining, whose warps are cotton and wefts are ramie. Probably made in Echigo, now Niigata prefecture. In excellent condition. The second half of the 19th century. 64cm x 68.5cm
A fine seji, celadon, and sometsuke style dish. In the early eighteenth century it would appear that this style of decoration was the preserve of the Nabeshima kiln. However in the Kyoho era during the Shogunates economy drive this style of porcelain was largely replaced with sometsuke patterns...

A lovely, small, rare, middle Ming dish ( fifteenth century ) decorated in underglaze blue with a bird. The representation of the bird very attractive and swinging. The extraordinary strong resp. deep Cobalt blue of this dish is very nice.

Condition : No chip, no crack, the glaze of this excavated piece slightly degraded by aggressive soil.
Terracotta votive plate depicting six seated Buddhist deities surmounting four smaller ones. Thailand, Khmer period known as Lopburi, 12-14th century. 91 mm high x 68 mm wide x 17 mm thick. The plate is nicely mounted on a custom stand. Abrasion due to great age, otherwise very good condition.

Wonderful satin stitch embroidery of flowers and butterflies decorate this charming antique Chinese Miao baby hat. The front has 4 silver Buddha ornaments and the back sports the traditional Miao ornament of a butterfly with dangling bells to protect the child from evil spirits. The hat is softly padded to keep baby's head warm.
An 18th century Japanese Arita porcelain moulded dish, circa 1750 ~ 1780. The dish with a cavetto moulded with foliage and lotus flowers within a barbed rim. The centre sporting a fine underglaze blue ferocious dragon and pearl amongst coloured clouds. Within the foot-rim is an unusual six-character Yongzheng mark. A dish of this design is illustrated in Shibata, “Complete Catalogue of the Shibata Collection” The Kyushu Ceramic Museum, # 3359.
