A Pair of Very Rare/Fine Korean Polychrome Enameled Wood Carved Tigers: 19th C.:

A pair of lacquered wood tigers. Both are modeled in poses to suggesting hunting or stalking, with mouths open as if ready to bite - or possibly they have caught their prey and are ready to roar with triumph! The lacquer is yellow, black, and red. Both tigers stand on a wooden base and they likely served as guardians at an entryway...
Antique pair of Japanese shokudai (candle stands), made of bronze. Beautiful simple design with faceted stem and small chrysanthemum shaped detail where stick meets base. Each stand has a little hook and circular candle guard.

A jar of squat form with three lugs and a short neck with flaring mouth. Moulded peony spray decoration in low relief on the shoulder. A translucent glaze over a white porcelain body, the flat base unglazed. Yuan to Ming Dynasty, fourteenth to fifteenth centuries. Dehua ware Fujian. H : 4,3 cm. Diameter : 5,4 cm. Condition : Chips to the flaring moutg ( see images ) further in excellent condition.

A well potted jar of globular form, decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with a collar of lotus petals around the neck and a continuous floral scroll meander on the body. Off-white stoneware body with a transparent glaze. The base unglazed. Annamese ware ( Vietnam ) fifteenth century. H : 7,4 cm. Diameter : 8,3 cm. Condition : Perfect.
A JAPANESE ARITA PORCELAIN SQUARE DISH, EDO PERIOD.
An attractive Japanese Arita porcelain square dish with canted corners, decorated with an oversized sage lost in reverie by a lake. The unusual borders completely painted with figures in a landscape. Late 18th ~ early 19th century.
By repute once part of the Bigelow Collection and disposed by auction in New England a few years ago.

This is a Qing Dinasty, Flattened, Rectangular form tapering towards base snuff bottle, with rounded shoulders, rounded straight neck, and raised rounded rectangular footing. It is mostly of brick red color with some subdue light brown streaks. A light sheen on its surface enhances its natural Cher stone color...
Wonderful Minpei/Awaji ware tea bowl made by the legendary 1st Minpei Kashu during the Edo Period, with deep glaze cracks and soft cobalt blue pictures. It comes with a signed wooden box and a signed and sealed attestation of Hasshu Uewashi, issue number 256. Hasshu Uewashi was a famous judge of Japanese pottery who worked during the Meiji and Taisho Era.

Unusual Japanese 2-panel calligraphy screen with highly stylized brushstrokes, bordered with silver leaf and silk. The left character reads "Gi" (or Righteousness); On the right reads "Dao" (the path or way). The inscriptions appear to mean "Righteousness must always be pursued".
