Rare Miao festival top from Lan Dian China 90+ years old covered with various embroidery techniques home spun fabric and in excellent condition

Lovely Chinese basket most likely woven by the Zhuang or another of the many ethnic minorities in Guangxi Zhuang, China where I bought this over 20 years ago. This woven from split reed stalks and has a nice soft feel to it. This piece is quite old, 50 to 100 years (best guess). It has an unusual trapezoidal/oval shape and I like it for its sturdy simplicity. Minor unraveling of some of the weaves here and there but in very good condition given it age...

Charming round monochrome vase with gorgeous rich oxblood/cranberry colored small speckled glaze. Lip has slight white ring, adding character to this small decorative piece.

A silver Fred Harvey open-top creamer. Early-mid twentieth century. Engraving on bottom reads, "International Silver Co.; Silver Soldered; Fred Harvey; 09; 4 oz; 61[boxed in]". Exterior in excellent-mint condition, mild corrosion on the interior bottom. 3 1/4" tall; 2" diameter.

Chinese blue with white background colored Peking glass vase, with a short trumpet neck encircled with stiff leaves above two female figures, one sitting under a tree and the other holding a flower branch amid clouds and landscape in relief. This fine glass vase has a height of 12 inches. Condition Report: Excellent condition without any chips or cracks.

This Manchu style jacket is out of Northern China during the late Qing Dynasty...Hand loomed heavy weight cotton fabric with wool sleeve borders and embroidery trim. fits small woman...and makes an impressive wall display

This Chinese pinafore style garment would have been worn by a small girl child of the Dong ethnic minority in Shui Kou. Fabric is handwoven from cotton fiber, hand stitched with intricate decorative applique work and hand woven snowflake pattern ribbon accents the border. No rips, no tears, and no holes...but this piece is old and has been worn and is a bit "dirty".... and still has its original ties. It is 14 inches wide and 21 inches long...great ethnographic textile for framing.

Classic long sleeved silk brocade cheongsam aka qipao. This is all hand tailored and hand sewn, definitely not off the rack. Beautiful floral pattern (lotus, chrysanthemum, and pomegranate blossoms) with foliate scrolls, this pattern can be traced back to Ming Dynasty blue and white porcelain. The zipper has come off the track other than that perfect condition. See enlargements for dimensions. Clean but could use a steam press. More dimensions can be provided for a serious buyer.

Gorgeous Chinese silk robe in an ivory color, with allover pattern of silk dragons and clouds. The breast of the robe has a large, beautiful phoenix with cascading feathers in light pink, grey, gold, and off white, with pink forbidden stitching around its face. Silk leaves with gold stitching and pink budding flowers decorate the lower front of the robe. The robe is edged in silk leaves and flower buds, zig-zagging stitches, and forbidden stitches. Figured blue silk. Stitched on embroidered roundels with design of a boy holding flowers. Applied with black silk band and ribbon at the collar, cuffs and hem. On yellow silk satin in satin stitch and Peking knot beautifully embroidered sleeve bands with flowers, peaches and bats. Peach colored silk lining. Condition: One roundel at the back and parts of the ribbon missing. Some wear and minor staining, loose threads, lining worn, repair. Dimension: Sleeve to sleeve 148 cm, 57 cm high.

A Fukagawa Koransha Arita bottle vase, the glaze a very pale pink with decoration of grey leaves and three red cherries. Orchid (Koransha) mark in underglaze blue, early 20th century. Height "7/ 18 cm. Condition: slight wear to the gilt rim of the neck.

Rare Chinese two color rotating peking glass snuff bottle with a freely rotating mid section. The lid of the stopper has a red chimera finished over the original yellow peking glass. The foot flares out dramatically with a deep recess.

Chinese Peking Glass Cup/Beaker, 1 3/4" high, 2 1/2" diameter-top rim, 7/8" diameter-bottom rim, with translucent lavender color glass, the tiny black spot in the picture is in the glass, no damages. Etched mark "China" on the bottom.
