Statue of Kuan Yin, wearing diadem and formal dress, holding a lotus bud in her right hand, sitting in "regal repose" on a elevated double lotus throne. Bronze, with fine reddish-green patina. China, Yuan/early Ming Dynasty, maybe earlier. Height: 12.9 cm. Very good condition. A rather rare piece in this form.

A Very Fine/Beautiful White Glazed High Footed Bowl-19th C.: Korea, Joseon dynasty, 19th century. Each figure has attenuated legs, string-cut grooves delineating the arms and neck, and bulbous heads with minimalist visages. Made from diorite. Size of tallest section 3" H, includes custom stand.

Chinese painted pottery cocoon jar painted with swirling design with red, black and white pigments. The cocoon jar is sometimes called a "duck-egg jar", used as a wine vessel during Han Dynasty.

A Laotian figure of Buddha Shakyamuni, made of cast bronze with dark patina. Depicted seated in meditation on an undecorated pedestal, the right hand in bhumisparsa and the left in dhyana mudra. The curly hair is ending in the ushnisha with flame ornament, his face in the typical naive style. Condition: old small loss to the flame and one foot of the pedestal (therefore not perfectly even). Backside with some casting flaws. Dimension: c. 24.1 cm high x 12.5 cm wide x 8.5 cm deep, weight: 1800 g.

Small Chinese porcelain dish. Email of the "Famille Rose" representing a bird and peonies. Excellent quality rarely found on export porcelain, it's of the same quality as on Imperial porcelain. Good condition, a very minute chip. Diameter: 115mm (4,5 inches)

Beautiful antique Japanese bronze vases with raised design of dragons on one side and phoenixes on the other, each vase inscribed, label states that these vases were presented by Members of Congress of Fukuoka Prefecture, Meiji Period (1868-1912). Size: 11 1/2" high x 6" wide.

An antique Japanese Tohoku Tansu made of beautiful Keyaki Burl root (Zelkova) and Suginoki (Cryptomeria) woods. Original finish and hand made iron fittings including stylized Kakute handles. A Fine Carved Koryo Greenish Celadon Bottle Vase: Korea, Koryo dynasty, 11th -12th century This is a baluster shape of body and cup-mouth shape, the sides tapering to the flat base with no glaze, knife-cut with vertical facets below interlocking loops encircling the shoulders, around the shoulder carved with lotus leafy foliage, covered overall in a celadon-green glaze. It’s in fine condition with some kiln-grit adhering to the base. Measurements; 25cm x 14,6cm (9 7/8” x 5 ¾”). ...

The ground textile is a dark woolen flannel "inlaid" with pieces of colored fabric and embroidered in silk yarn in different colors. The embroideries from Rasht in Gilan Province were made by professional male embroiderers. Cotton lining, silk fringes. Dimension: diameter (without fringes): 142 cm, fringes: c. 8.5 cm long. Condition: fine, little faded, minimally stained.

This is a bronze age harpoon from Northern India dating to circa 1500 BC. This magnificent piece weighs 303 grams and measures roughly 249 mm in length (the smallest one I currently have in stock). It has a fantastic patina that suggests a high copper content and no signs of damage or repair. I am listing four of these harpoons this week. Don't miss out on this incredible find.
