Antique, circa 1900 A.D. Native American Indians. finely beaded belt pouch, I made of trade silk fabric embroidered with glass trade seed beads. The back is fitted with a belt loop.

CONDITION: Shows the age and use, loss of beads, minor wear normal for age.

Carved hardwood box. The wood appears to be Huang-Hualy. The decoration is sculpted in relief with a peach tree in a stylized vase, the tree bears foliage and 5 peaches. The stylized vase is composed of a filiform dragon whose head can be seen from the front. The box opens with a lid pierced with 2 holes to receive a retaining wire, so you could open the lid by making it sink without losing it. Chinese work. The light brown morocco leather is embroidered with trailing floral motifs in gilt silver thread. The flap is secured by two gilded filigree stylized rosette clasps.
