Beautiful antique Japanese Edo Period Imari Large Octagonal Bowl Decorated with scenes of rural sea side huts. Inside there is a large kirin in swirling clouds. Wonderful patterns of chrysanthemums, blue underglaze with orange, green and gold details. Seal in blue on the bottom of bowl. Age: Late Edo Period (1803 - 1817).

Exquisite antique Japanese fluted Imari vase with special scallop edge and containing intricate patterns of flowers, scrolls, hu-birds and geometric designs. This beautiful vase is of dark blue underglaze with gold, red and orange-red overglaze. Underglazed foot has orange clay body. Flowers are painted in red and highlights of gold. This pair of porcelain baskets was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the 1890s. They measure 10 inches long, 8 inches wide and 3 inches deep. They are made of fine, white, hard paste porcelain that is pierced or reticulated. The rims have molded pearl beading. There are beautifully hand painted floral sprays in the center of the bowl and in medallions on the sides. All of the reticulated designs are outlined in gold, inside and out...
Charming bronze figure of the reclining Buddha. This stage depicting the death of his body and his attainment of the realm of his true self and ultimate enlightenment is called Mahaparinirvana. Pair of dark blue cloisonne vases with scenes of birds among reeds. The base and mouth of the vases are bordered with an intricate design. The backs of the vases have a simple depiction of reeds with grasses. They measure 1.75" wide at base 11" tall. The bases are both signed with the same signature. Meiji period, 1868-1912.

Ritual dagger ("phurpa") formerly used by a shaman during religious ceremonies. Wood, with nice dark patina. Textiles attached on top with a chain. Old restoration with a forged metal point on the lower part of the dagger. Nepal, early 19th century. Height: 13 1/4" (32,5 cm). The phurpa is nicely mounted on a custom metal stand. Good condition.
A small famille verte dish from Chinese transitional period (early 17th century), it was probably made for the Japanese market. There is a "jade" character inside the double circles mark inside the foot rim. Condition: there are four tiny and shallow chips on the rim of the dish, and have been patched, please examine the photos for details. Good antique condition other than this. Diameter: 4-3/4".

stylized lion's head pommel, red velvet over wood sheath with pierced silver decorations. Great craftsmanship been rendered by the maker by detailing
the lion head, movable tongue. Overall length of this item is 27 cm, 10.5 inches. Small size of the hilt is the indication that this dagger been used by a Child or a woman!

A George II Sterling Silver tankard, Hallmarked for London, 1759 with the makers mark of John Payne. It weights 23.7 Troy ounces and is 7.5/8" high. It is of Baluster shape on a circular foot. Chinese jade pair of horses with a monkey riding one the back of one of the horses. The imagery used on this Chinese carving can be derived from the noted legend of Journey to the West, where the monkey king is assigned by the Jade Emperor to oversee the heavenly stables, but does mischief in the end. Horses in East Asia represent swiftness and the monkey representing representing foolishness yet with the ability to learn its lesson. Age: 20th century. Size: height 4.25" width 5.5" length 6.5"
