This set of 12 porcelain bread and butter plates was produced in Germany by Lamm Dresden in the 1880s. Not all the plates are pictured but there are 12 in the set. The plates have a diameter of 6 1/4 inches. The rims are slightly scalloped. They are hand painted with charming sprays and garlands of flowers in a palate of blue, pink and yellow. This is a wonderful pair of sterling silver tablespoons made by the Whiting Manufacturing Co. in the decorative repousse "Berry" Pattern, circa 1880, the front beautifully detailed with blueberry-like berries and leaves; monogrammed on the back with initials A. A Pair of Sterling Silver Sugar Tongs by Tiffany in the "English King" Pattern. The Inside is Marked "Tiffany & Co. Sterling Pat. 1885". The Tongs are 4" in length and in excellent condition (there is some glare in the photos. There is a very small monogram on one side.

A very well patinated wood carving, with silver wire inlay, depicting the Daoist Immortal Li Tieguai. Ornate sterling silver meat serving fork, the handle decorated with shells, scrolls, roses and beads, and the matte-gilded tines decorated with bright cut engraving. The reverse is marked "925Sterlin1000", a marking frequently seen on American sterling silver before silversmith's were required to identify their work.
