Exquisite Alexander Roux bed circa 1850 in the gothic/rococo style. Roux was born in France and emigrated to New York where he became one of the most sought after cabinet makers of American Victorian furniture. The bed measures 7'9" tall x 7'4" long x 4'8" wide. It will make a wonderful addition to any collector or any lover of American Victorian furniture.

An antique Japanese small Choba Tansu (merchant chest) made of Kiri (Paulownia) wood. All original hand forged iron hardware with hardened wooden nail construction. Two sliding doors open to a spacious storage area where the merchant stored the books and records. Three drawers of varying sizes for additional storage.

A Blue Staffordshire Pitcher with Acanthus Scrolled Loop Handle and Oriental Design. Dimensions; 9" high x 5.5" wide, to handle. Circa 1880-1890 and in excellent condition.

A Qajar sherbet spoon carved from light, varnished wood, made in two parts with a long rhomboid handle joined to the boat-shaped bowl-section by a slot. Floral embroidery in several shades of blue silk thread decorate this white silk sleeve band. Mostly embroidered with satin stitch, there is a rose embroidered with peking knots and high-lighted with gold couching. There is some slight discoloration on the white silk border which could easily be avoided in framing. Embroidered area measures 4" x 16 full panel measures 7" x 32

Futonji with tsutsugaki (glue resist dye by free hand) made of hand spun cotton. It has traditional "Karajishi-Botan", imaginary lion and peony motif. The green ground cloth is dyed with vegetable indigo and natural yellow, the painting is colored with pigments. It is remade to futonji from originally yogi, which is a futon in the shape of kimono. The tsutsugaki technique is excellent and in excellent condition. Meiji period (1868~1912).

This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in France by Jean Pouyat Limoges in the 1890s. The porcelain was produced and decorated at the factory. The saucer is 4 7/8 inches in diameter. The cup is 3 inches tall with a diameter of 2 1/4 inches. The ground color is powder blue. Art Nouveau style dandelions are hand painted and hand gilded on each piece. It is richly gilded on the rims and handle...

Another wonderful and large Chinese Buddha Bronze statue, approx. 18th century (Qing Dynasty), sitting on a square base, with a height of 38 cm and a width of 24 cm, weight 4,95 KG.
