A Very Fine Korean Goryo Bronze Mirror with a Sailing Ship-14th C.: Korea, Goryo dynasty, 13th -14th century. The design is cast in high relief on the obverse of this Mirror depicts a ship sailing on a stormy sea. A large dragon arises from the upper left and right with clouds of spray cap the surging waves...

A really extremely nice and decorative white glazed Jar. Well potted porcelain body with a very delicate molded decoration and four lugs, covered with a very nice clean-white glaze. H : 9,9 cm. Diameter : 9,8 cm. Condition : There is a filled hole in the bottom, further this piece is in a really excellent condition - not the smallest crack or chip, even all four lugs are in perect condition, which is rare to find.

 

Black - brown iron glaze on a stoneware body. South China thirteenth to fourteenth centuries. There are also Thai pieces in a quite similar shape, but please don´t confound this piece with a Thai piece. Diameter : 10,3 cm. H : 5,5 cm. Condition : One nearly invisible hairline to the glaze, further in perfect condition.

This is a southern Song dynasty (1131 - 1276 A.D) yingqing or qingpai covered bowl in a sea green glazed. It stands on a short recessed glazed footrim and then everted into a straight U-shaped bowl with unglazed rim. The inside of the bowl is also glazed with yingqing sea green colour. On the body of the bowl, it is incised with lotus petal shaped overlapping one another. The cover of the bowl is also incised with overlapping lotus petals with a rounded finial on the top...

A most beautiful piece. Superbly, thinly potted porcelain body covered with an excellent bluish-white colored glaze. Song Dynasty ( 960 – 1279 ). Diameter : 9,6 cm. H : 7,1 cm. Condition : Some very faint crackles in the glaze but not to the body of the jar.

Dark grey stoneware body covered with a very nice and glossy, fine Guan - crackled, quite uncommon brownish celadon glaze. Song – Yuan Dynasty ( thirteenth to fourteenth centuries ) Longquan ware, Zhejiang. Diameter : 6,4 cm. H : 6,7 cm. Condition : Perfect.

These are the following items to be posted at our site. A collection of very rare fluted cups from the Song Dynasty. Normally it is hard to find one single piece from this kind. There are three different Longquan ware cups, one rare Yaozhou kiln cup and one blueish grey glazed possibly Guan ware cup. These cups normally are a " must " for every serious collector of Song Dynasty ware.

The cover decoration of this box, executed in an extremely nice cobalt blue, is well known as the central medallion of the inner decoration of some extremely rare underglaze blue Imperial Chenghua "Palace Bowls". It is a single stylished flower head, represented in a style resp. in a manner which we only do know from the Chenghua period. Ming Dynasty, Jingdezhen ware, 1465 - 1487. Diameter : 4,4 cm. A Chinese, celadon, twin-fish dish from the Longquan kiln; Southern Song to Yuan dynasty. Carved with a lotus-petal design to the exterior, and covered all-over in a beautiful sea-green glaze, apart from the outer base which has burnt reddish. Dimensions; 12cm diameter. Conditions; good. no chips or cracks.
