The pistols with walnut stock and finely engraved and chiselled silver. With spurred butt caps with chiselled grotesque masks. Wilson engraved on the locks and with London gun marks on the smooth barrels and silver marks as well. Silver mounted and tipped ramrods.

Offered is a fine pair of Japanese 18th Century porcelain bowls, made in Arita circa 1740 to 1780, give or take a decade. They are decorated in underglaze blue and white (sometsuke). These bowls measure approximately 5 3/4" (about 14.6 cm) wide and just under 2" (5.2 cm) high, and the weight is 225 grams for one bowl and 267 grams for the other...

An exceptionally small Japanese tea or wine bowl and saucer, Edo period c 1710. Blood and milk iron red and gilt decoration of butterflies, flowers and swirls.
