This is Tsutsugaki Yogi having the biggest lobster for Edo period. The bold lobster pattern of Edo period has three-dimensional movement of Edo period. A Chinese court necklace (Chaozhu). The necklace is composed of one hundred and eight red agate beads spaced with three lapis lazuli beads. The lower part is decorated with a lapis lazuli and jadeite combination bead (fotouta), a flat oblong crystal plaque suspending a golden hair crystal drop, and three strings of lapis lazuli beads suspending similar enameled-metal mounted golden hair crystal drops. Late Qing Dynasty. The necklace is in excellent condition.

A Myochin iron forged Jizai Okimono articulated spiny lobster. Each iron plate is carefully reppouse hammered iron creating a natural realism representing the spiny lobster. The amount of fine detail that goes into this piece is equal to that of one of his most well known helmets. The lobster is fully splayed on a well mounted bronze stand.
