19th century or earlier Japanese sword set of fuchi (bordering piece between the sword guard and the handle) and kashira (metal pommel at the end of the hilt of a sword) with design of geese in flight over fishing boats with woven roofs and oars moored among reeds in the marshes. Excellent set in Japanese taste with wonderfully captured mood of autumnal melancholy. Very well made, some wear to gilding. Kashira length 1.41 inches, fuchi length 1.48 inches.

A beautiful Chinese export mug done in the mandarin palette. This mug is free from any damages and virtually has very little wear, almost nothing. I have not seen any better for the age and is very difficult to find in such pristine condition. Circa 1780. This is one of those pieces that the camera doesn't quite capture the mug's exquisite beauty and detailing. The fortunate buyer will not be disappointed. This beauty measures 5" high and 4" diameter.
A lovely and extremely rare type of Westerwald vessel with handle, Germany, c. late 16th.-early 17th. century.
The vessel decorated with fine gothic looking lions and rossettes as spacers with manganese blue.

Condition: Nice Very fine for the early type, completely intact but for a closed crack with short hairlines, just below the handle to the right. Never repaired and very stable and sound.

A set of six plates with a central floral arrangement in a dragon flanked base surrounded by eight alternating panels of florals and scenes. The back is signed in Chinese style referring to the Ming Dynasty.
Age: Late Taisho Period. Size: Diameter. 12.3cm. Condition: Perfect.
Colored pigment of paper. The subject of this scroll is dated back to the 10th century, illustrating the story of an ancient three legged money toad, and Lui Hai, a minister of state. The toad brings and represents good fortune and prosperity.
Largest seal on front top of screen is the seal for the Emperor, Chia Cheng.

This is a well-painted Tibetan thanka depicting the Medicine Buddha. The painting is unframed and measures 10" X 12". Ample gold highlights, including the "aureole" surrounding the Buddha. Minor rubbing, as can be seen in the photos. In need of a good cleaning. Inscription on the reverse.
19th century netsuke of widely smiling Okame enveloped in her robe and holding a large wooden spoon in her hands, with a removable round bottom revealing the shunga part of the netsuke. Excellent carving, especially the face with its wide smile, wonderful flow of her robe. The dots on her forehead are inlaid with brown horn.
