Chinese porcelain vase with a meiping form with iron red underglaze of three twisting dragons, with puffs of smoke and flame floating around them and rolling waves below. Antique two-section Keyaki wood tansu from the Fukushima region of Japan. It has a beautiful, warm woodgrain, iron warabite handles, with cherry blossom and leaf iron decorations above and below each handle, and a corner lockbox with a flower-shaped lock handle and ring pull with flower backing. 19th century Meiji Period. Size: 45" height, 41.75" width, 17.5" depth

This is a beautiful and unique Japanese Cloisonne box.The artist could have be one of at several but it looks like a piece from Inaba,Honda or Shibata. The box is about 50% larger than most boxes and has the same form as a Hayashi box I once had. The silk lining with the mums is exquisite. The box measures 6 inches by 4 1/4 inches and is 2 5/8 tall. The condition is excellent.

A 19th century celadon vase of robust globular shape, with a waisted neck to imitate the look of revolving vases. Against the molded celadon ground are enameled famille rose flower sprays, with a Prunus branch curious enameled to the base. Producing this vase would have required two separate firings...

Made of silk. Two panels with very fine embroidery of a dragon and a phoenix, with lots of gold thread. The other panels with simple flower patterns. Some of them with gilt brass bells at the bottom. Condition: expected age wear and discoloring, but overall in good condition. Dimensions ca 100x100 cm. Ca. late 19th century.

This is a superb Chinese yixing teapot bell shaped with brass mount on the teapot rims & finial on red clay. There are tea stains in the interior of the teapot & spout area. The teapot condition is excellent! It's signed & inscribed on the base.

Antique Chinese opium container made from copper with silver, with a cloisonne lid, decorated with pink flowers on a deep blue background. Its front is engraved with a beautiful seated princess, and its back is engraved with Chinese characters reading " The best medicine of the West comes to the great East. Consume this opium and float like a celestial princess." Dated 1820-1850 Size: 2" height, 1.75" width

Chinese antique agate snuff bottle, converted by a French artist into a striker (lighter) with the addition of a silver bottom and rim with details of irises, dragon flies and butterflies. The silver work has a distinct art nouveau style to it, the lid is made of orange agate, silver and coral.
