This porcelain bowl was produced in Germany by the Richard Klemm Dresden studio around 1900. The bowl measures 9 1/4” in diameter and 2” deep. Late 19th to early 20th century wooden netsuke carved in a shape of a toy bear with red lacquer symbol on its back, which is an early pictograph representing the sun. Clever design, beautiful simplicity to the object, dense hardwood, eyes are inlaid, wonderful patina. Length 2.28 inches.

This pair of carved ivory emperor and empress are late 19th or early 20th century export pieces. The emperor is 12 ¼” high, 2 ¼” wide and 1 ¾” thick. The empress is 12 1/8” high, 2 ½” wide and 2” thick. The emperor is holding a sword and the empress is holding a Ruyi. The robes are very well carved with dragon and phoenix designs. There is honorable “Great Ming” mark on the bottom of the empress. They are in excellent condition.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Austria by Franz Dorfl between 1884 and 1902. The cup is artist signed. The shape of the set is triangular and quite unusual. The ground color is deep cobalt blue. The front of the cup has a reserve containing a hand painted scene. A classical woman is taking Cupid's bow and arrows from him. It is a spirited contest. This is a wonderful Meiji Era Satsuma tray from Seikozan. The detail is outstanding but the condition is even better. The condition of this piece is pristine and like new or the day it left the workshop. In fact, this piece is the finest preserved example of Meiji era Satsuma we have ever had. Ironically, we found a small factory repair to one of the corners. We ran tests and it is absolutely a gold covered Seikozan factory repair (See last image).

This porcelain vase was produced in Germany by Sontag & Sohne, Tettau, around 1900. It is 7 1/2 inches long at the base, 3 ¾ inches deep and 5 3/4 inches high. The shape and decoration are in the art nouveau style. There is a scene of a Jacobean couple accompanied by a blackamoor and a whippet. It is done in fine hand enameling. A cartouche of embossed gold frames the scene. There are gold accents and the top rim is trimmed with gold...

Finely carved ivory Chinese napkin ring with 3 landscape carvings and an animal in each scene. Each is deeply carved, giving depth to the foliage. The 4th cartouche is left blank for monogramming. In excellent condition, it measures 1 1/8" high by 2" diameter. Circa 1900.

From the estate of the late Violet Trefusis, exquiste large etched English or French Crystal Perfume Bottle with angled sides depicting a beautiful Deer in a Forest landscape, gilt top, original cork and intact crystal stopper. It is 4.6 inches (11.7 cm) tall measured with stand, 3.7 inches (9.3 cm) tall measured without stand by 2.75 inches (7 cm) wide.

Late Qing Dynasty (1890s - 1911) small Chinese red coral carving of Guanyin - the Boddhisattva of Compassion - in her monastic robe. Nicely carved, beautiful true salmon red coral, narrow drilled hole allowing it to be used as a bead on a necklace or as a separate pendant. Height 1 1/16 inches.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Franziska Hirsch Dresden studio around 1900. The saucer has a diameter of 4 3/16 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The set is hand painted in fine detail. There are scenes of lovers in landscapes surrounded by garlands of colorful flowers. The rims are trimmed with delicate gilding. Condition: The rim of the cup has slight fading to the gilding mentioned for accuracy. It is hardly noticeable.
