Qing Dynasty tripod censer made of bronze, with carving of horse n warrior riding, the geometrical pattern is typical chinese design found on textile, porcelain and etcs, it has the grass dragon but damaged and lost, the visible part left is the spilt tail only as the dragon body is broken and lost(the claw is still there, the cover is new/ later added as the original one also lost. Unusual Japanese stacking box comprised of 10 shallow compartments for the storage of important documents or calligraphy implements. The edges of each compartment are reinforced with hand-forged iron plates. The tall box is held together by a long cord.

An antique architectural Japanese Buddhist temple carving of opposing flying Ryu (dragons) protecting a Hoju (sacred Buddhist jewel) with the eyes made using the reverse glass painting technique. The detailed relief carving shows their coiled bodies circulating amongst the stylized clouds with one dragon open mouth to expel evil spirits and the other closed mouth to keep good spirits in. Their serpentine body reveals 4 appendages with classic three claw anatomy...

A Silver Wire Hayashi Kodenji Style Cloisonne Vase. With panels of dragons and of phoenix on a mica flecked ground. Japanese Meiji. Height: 7 1/16″ (18.0 cm). Condition: excellent.

Small bronze flared muzzle cannon of this type where made for shooting flaming arrows at ships. For launching fireworks at festivals and for signaling purposes. The example of cast bronze with a bore that is described as at the breach and the bore is reduced to a half round section to form a chamber for the powder mount for use.
The gun would be imbedded into a wooded block such as the lower half of the barrel and the entire breach end is covered...

This extremely rare standing Olmec figure is 3" long and 1 1/2" wide at the shoulders. It is made from true jadeite that is semi-translucent at the right arm and shoulder. In very nicely cracked light green celadon, it has a large, slightly flared neck, a round base, a motif of clouds and cranes in flight, and lotus flowers at its base. H28.5 cm D13.5 cm.

A Chinese Blue and White Vase, Qing Dynasty. Height approximately 35.5 cm. The vase has few small chips and a hairline 1.5 cm at the rim. Good condition.

This is a gorgeous hagi-isho juban ( under kimono ) which is made of many kinds of silk such as plain silk with katazome ( stencil-dyeing ), silk crepe with itajime ( board-clamp-dyeing ) and katazome ( stencil-dyeing ) and shibori ( tie-dyeing ), wild silk and so on. This piece was exhibited in the show in Japan. It has thin cotton lining inside. Late Edo or early Meiji period ( ca. mid 19th C to early 20th C ). In excellent condition except for a few tiny moth holes...

A stunning American brilliant cut glass carafe or water bottle featuring and an unusual shaped body. It is in excellent condition measuring 8" high and 7.5" diameter. This is a wonderful piece for the collector and would also be a great wedding gift.

An antique Japanese Ikebana bamboo basket designed as a baluster shaped vase. Large bamboo slats interwoven with other delineated free form smaller slats. The mouth opening has some decorative bamboo rope matching the all rope footed base. Three slats at the base forms a star shape while the body is strong with a wide sweeping design.

A moulded hexagonal bowl, hakkaku hachi, decorated to the exterior with an iron red ground inset with alternating reserves containing ribbon bound scrolls, makimono, and artemisin leaves, mogusa-ha, two of the Eight Chinese precious objects, Babao, hachitakara, and a band of stylised eight petal flowers, presumably Tessen the clematis flower, with leaves and pine branches...

Yuan dynasty longquan celadon censer (incense burner). Good conditions except small chipped at the foot. minor glaze degradations. 15,2cm diameter.8,3cm high.

This 17th century carved polychrome wood head of Guan Yin (Goddess of Mercy) is 15 inches tall, 7 inches wide and 7 inches in depth. The solid teak wood base is 3 ¼ inches high, 9 inches wide and 8 ¾ inches in depth. This statue was part of the collection of a professor who spent over 20 years in China. Some of the color has come off and there is a long crack on the back of her head due to the age of this statue.
