This is horse cover textile at the Meiji era.(1868-1912) It draws in the indigo dye by the technique of tsutsugaki. It is a very vivid, impressive motif. It is wonderful horse cover textile. This is the one in the Tohoku region. It uses it at the wedding. This is rolled in horse's trunk. The bride rides on this horse. There is little damage in the edge. There is a little stain. However, it doesn't stand out.

This porcelain chamber stick or candle holder was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the 1890s. It has both impressed shield and printed marking. It measures 4 3/4 inches in diameter and is 2 inches tall. The decoration is elaborate tapestry of flowers, ribbons and gold. The hand painting is precise and extremely fine. The colors are vivid and the gilding is bright. It is a lovely reminder of the past.
A Late Yuan early Ming Dynasty blue and white bowl with the flora pattern in good condition
A wonderful example of this well-known and highly collected historical Staffordshire scene. This plate is 6 3/4" in diameter, with the impressed Clews mark on the reverse. The condition is superb, with deep color, high clarity, sparkling glaze, and no chips, cracks, scratches, or restoration. It is as fine an example as one could hope for.

Old Chinese White Jade Jadeite Coral 18 Bead Bracelet
Composed of a single strand of eighteen white jade beads, joined by two larger jadeite beads and a small coral bead.

A lobed dinner plate 9 ½ inches (24 cm) diameter decorated with a sprig of cornflowers (?) in the center of the well surrounded with numerous single red or gilt flowers. The lip is decorated with richly gilt and enamel swags surrounding floral cartouches. The rubbed overglaze “VV” on the back is the mark for the Verneuilh factory. It dates from the 1780’s; possibly 1787 when Vanier entered a contract with the Verneuilhs.

Antique Chinese seal made from an extremely beautiful piece of purplish-white jadeite with apple green areas. A meticulously carved dragon sits curled on top with two orbs. Included is a small Hardwood stand.

The fibula with semi-circular headplate with four profiled knobs, rhomboid footplate with an animal-head ending. Head and footplate decorated with carved bulls-eye ornaments.
