A nicely carved jadeite plaque, featuring all three colors of the jadeite palette: light green, brown, and hints of lavender. Both sides feature a Qing-style landscape of a deer traversing a mountainous landscape. Can be worn as a necklace pendant.

An antique Japanese Tansu chest made of Kiri (Paulownia) wood. All hand forged iron hardware. 2 sliding doors with spacious storage behind with 3 side by side drawers below for additional storage. A single section that would accent any space below a window sill or at the foot of a bed.

A wonderful cutlery tray, probably of Vermont origin, made around 1840. What makes it so exceptional is the decoration, closely akin to "vinegar painting." Red paint was put on a yellow base, and a solvent added. This made the combination of colors run together, producing a somewhat mottled effect.

Another notable point is that the tray is in excellent condition, with no cracks or breaks. The paint is all original and untouched, with a nice dry surface...

A Ko-Seto-yu Chaire Tea Container by Teishitsu Gigei-in Suwa Sozan I wrapped in a chord bound silk pouch enclosed in the original signed wooden box tied with deer leather, the box bearing the seal of the Imperial Art Academy. It is 5 cm (2 inches) tall and is in perfect condition.

A fine depiction of a Mesopotamian Cylinder seal in black stone, Neo-Assyrian Epire, c. 9th.-7th. cent. BC.

The seal is carved with the enthroned Great King or Ashur himself seated, drinking from a cup in front of a table with a large wine amphora or vase. Behind the table there's a standing attendant with a Fan.Crescent and star symbols in the fields.

DESCRIPTION: An attractive scholar’s brush, the cloisonné handle having colorful vine and floral designs on a black ground. The ferrule and tip are both crafted from turned wood while natural bristles form the full brush. In excellent condition, this is a handsome, well made brush dating from the early 20th C. DIMENSIONS: 13.5" long (34.2 cm).

A rare Yuan dynasty Shufu glaze large lobbed bowl, rounded side with lobbed rim and unglazed base, bowl decorated with molded large dragon motif at the center, inner wall with continuous flower motif, outer wall with flower motif, unglazed base.
Bowl is in good condition with shallow glaze defect on inner rim, no crack, no restoration, rare to find a sfuhu bowl with dragon motif.

This is a superb Chinese yixing teapot bell shaped with brass mount on the teapot rims & finial on red clay. There are tea stains in the interior of the teapot & spout area. The teapot condition is excellent! It's signed & inscribed on the base.

An antique architectural Japanese Buddhist temple carving of opposing flying Ryu (dragons) protecting a Hoju (sacred Buddhist jewel) with the eyes made using the reverse glass painting technique. The detailed relief carving shows their coiled bodies circulating amongst the stylized clouds with one dragon open mouth to expel evil spirits and the other closed mouth to keep good spirits in.
