A Swatow type blue and white exported ware to South East Asian region. Late Ming dynasty 17th century Zhangzhou ware. Condition is very good, no any crack, no any chip and free from any restoration excepted slight with a bit warped. The lower part is the light reflection, that's not a repair. The sarcophagus comes complete with only minor insect holes to the bottom of the piece, which do not detract. The sarcophagus is in absolutely choice condition with clear hieroglyphics to the front of the piece. Intricately detailed, this miniature scaled model of a japanese tea house was the result of a village folk art craftsman sometime between the late 1890-1920. Each piece is carved from bamboo and is pegged into place. The rice paper shutter doors slide and addition solid shutters are stored in the exterior swinging compartments. The roof is easily removed to reveal the inside which is furnished with an alter, bamboo scroll,flower vase and serving tansu with sliding doors...

A Chinese, blue and white glazed, inkstone decorated with lion-dogs, playing with a brocaded ball. A nicely painted piece for the Scholar's desk, and dating to the late Ming dynasty; C16th to early C17th. Traces of kiln grit are attached to the inner foot, and the base bears an apocryphal four-character Zhengde reign mark. Diameter, 10.7 cm Condition; good, with age relate wear.

An early Thai, Sukhothai period Celadon-glazed stoneware figure of a mother, shown chewing an ancient form of Narcotic drug known as Miang.

The figure dates to approximately 1400 A.D. and was produced in Thailand's Ancient Si Satchanalai Kilns. The depiction is one of a woman, shown seated with her left leg internally rotated and her right leg to the side. She has large protruding breasts and clutches a stylized child close to her body...

A very large and superb quality bronze figure of Shou Lao, the God Of Longetivity, also called the undying, China, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD).

The bronze figure with the well-known features of Shou Lao, in a wonderful Ming Dynasty style. The Stick and hand was cast seperately to the figure, and afterwards mounted as was costum during Ming Dynasty with the more difficult casting processes. A filled casting flaw on the back is also from the time of the making and typical for the period...
