Circa 1900, Chinese export enamel trough planter with floral scenes in rock garden on a custom wood stand. The glaze on the exterior ground is a lovely pale turquoise, while the interior is a darker contrasting turquoise. The rim features fret key pattern in a vibrant translucent royal blue and the metal trim is silver which has darkened over time. In excellent condition, the planter measures 8" long, 5.5" wide, and 2.5" high. On stand measures just under 3.5".

Chinese Tang Dynasty Painted Pottery Saddled Horse

This pottery model of a saddled horse was made during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 - 906). It is "heavily-potted" and made from a reddish pottery. The horse stands alert with its head head up. The surface has been "cold painted" in a reddish-brown pigment with details picked out in red, black and white pigments.

A pair of oval dishes with godrooned borders, soft paste / pâte tendre, creamy white with decoration of flowers in underglaze blue. Made c 1780 in Tournai, then France and now Belgium. Ronda was the most popular Tournai pattern, produced all through the 19th century till 1891 when the manufactory closed down. Width "10 ½ / 26.5 cm. Dragon's Pearl

A rare and beautiful, flattened form bamboo box with cover, probably used as a seal paste or brush washer. It is carved out from the root part of bamboo and nicely polished. Inside the lid a compass (no longer functioning). Qing, 18–19th cent. H 3 cm, D 7,5 cm. Condition: Over-all fine, and really good, old patina, but with small chip to lid.

This Lost Lake is from Todd County, Kentucky and is 3" long by 2" at its widest point. The material is a typical Archaic opaque chert. It has great mineralization and patina. It has a Tom Davis COA rated G-8. I would rate it higher. It is a classic form. Shows much nicer in person.
