This is an exquisite satsuma cup and saucer set. The work is very finely detailed and difficult to pick up with the camera. Saucer is 4 1/4 inches across. Cup is 3 3/4 inches across at the handle. Both pieces in nearly mint condition and both are signed Matsumoto Hozan.

Lovely porcelain figure of a billy goat standing on a pad decorated with flowers and foliage. The pad has a slightly impressed decoration on the front and gilt lines at the edges. A gold anchor mark is painted on the back of the base.

Origin: England, 1756-69. Condition: mint, except a tiny flake on the bottom of the pad base. Size: 1-3/8" x 2-1/8" x 2-1/4" tall. The anchor mark is just under 1/4" tall.

This Tibetan Priest's rattle is carved from horn and has a bone cap on the end. It was used by the Monk during ceremonial rituals and would have been shaken to ward off evil spirits. This horn was hand carved with many Tibetan Buddist symbols. All the edges are worn smooth with use and repeated handling.

19th century marine netsuke in a form of a woven mat with a bunch of grapes with vines and leaves, and a snail exploring them. The piece is probably carved by a member of Asakusa school with characteristic detailing and staining. The netsuke is hollowed inside, so can be classified as ryusa type.
