Japanese antique rectangular kesa or priest/monk's outer vestment cloth. The silk brocade of this kesa is a pale orange color and finely woven with colorful designs of dragons in clouds. The silk is Imperial Chinese, as shown by the five clawed dragons. Lined with dark blue silk.

Often described as a mantel or robe, the kesa is worn draped diagonally over the left shoulder and under the right armpit...

Antique Mongolian traveler's knife and chopsticks set. The knife's sheath is made of wood and completely covered in silver repoussé designs of Buddhist symbols and inlaid with coral and turquoise florets. The handle of the knife and the chopsticks are made of bone.

This is a Chinese antique brocade dragon costume of blue and gold satin silk, which draws five nail dragons on the front and back featuring Chinese treasure, longevity sign. In a very good condition No stain, no damage, yarn is not loose. Almost perfect condition. This was brought to Japan in the Qing Dynasty era. It was rarely used c1890. Antique Tibetan damaru, double skull drum traditionally for tantric ceremonies and meditation. Made in the joining of a male and a female cranium inside of which is usually inscribed with the corresponding male or female mantra. In this case, the two sides are attached with ornate silver repouse bands of scrolling vines and Buddhist symbols. In the center, a handle is attached to a band of silver that is inlaid with turquoise and coral and fitted with two drum beaters on the end of chords...

A beautiful set of 6 English antique wine flutes, of exceptionally tall size. The trumpet bowls, engraved with bunches of grapes, vines, and birds, lead down to double series opaque twist (DSOT) stems that are comprised of a pair of thick spiral threads around a central gauze. Rough, snapped pontils...

It is beautifully potted in an ovid melon form with in a transparent icy green glaze, with the rounded side tapering to a short foot. The qingpai glazing which is uneven, fall short of the short foot-rim with a recessed base.

There are no repairs or restorations. There is some minor firing fault, degradation, glaze crazing and minor losses as shown in all the photograps. Minor scattered oxidise spot as shown in all the photographs...

The Japanese tantutu pistol has a octagonal russet iron barrel, with flat sighting plains on top and bore of 3/8". A stock dai of Keyaki wood and brass plate jiita of the arquebus's firing mechanism. Mounted for display on a custom museum iron mount.

This is a large attractive cloisonne vase that we have had on display for many years. It is not signed and we're not sure of the Artist. It stands 24 inches tall and is in excellent condition. The smaller stand is included. The tall hardwood stand it is displayed on, stands 40 inches tall and is available.

We are proud to offer you a really rare antique piece of art and one of a kind: wonderful Echizen Chawan from the Momoyama Era (安土桃山時代 Azuchi Momoyama jidai; 1573–1603) without any crack, damage or repair.
