Ornate 19C Silver Indo Tibetan Dragon Necklace. The decorative and intricately worked silver 19th or early 20th century necklace has two open mouth dragons and a bird in high relief at the bottom. The necklace measures 30 inches in length. In good condition.

Antique Indian painting of a holy man seated centrally in a large court room, holding a lotus bud and adorned in jewels, with a bright halo around his head. Brightly robed courtesans stand at his side. A scale sits on the floor before him. Arabic writing decorates the top and the bottom of the painting. Set in a gilt frame. A pair woman's Paduka in fish form, made of hardwood and inlaid with brass wire. Base inscribed "Hindu bath sandals" and "Anna Broadwood". A similar pair in the Bata Shoe Museum Collection in Toronto. Dimension: c. 22 cm long, 8.8 cm wide, total height: 8.4 cm. Condition: few traces of usage, a short section with missing wire (see picture no. 2).

Beautiful 18th century black stone schist of vishnu with four arms. The arms hold a flower, a talisman with a 5 point star, a chile, and one hand is open palm outward with a dot in the middle. There are two attendants, one on either side. It measures 20" tall by 10" wide. Has metal base 4" deep.

A pair decorative Indian brass vases with engraved decoration of carnation tendrils, embellished with red, orange and black enamel. Condition: some traces of usage, few tiny enamel losses. Dimension: 24.9 cm and 25.2 cm high.

A painting in gouache on paper depicting Krishna as a seven year old boy in dancing costume. In this form he is known as Shri Nathji. This distinct tradition emanates from Nathadwara in Rajasthan and these paintings were probably intended for domestic shrines. 19th century.

A pair brass vases with handles, engraved with slightly different decoration of interlacing patterns, arabesques and Islamic calligraphy, one with fishes. Condition: some traces of usage. Dimension height: 21.1 cm, weight: 1'180 g.

The entire surface of this box is covered with a Persian floral design executed in pure gold overlaid on steel. The interior is fitted with silk moire sections. The lid is hinged and has a lock but no key. The base is undecorated steel. There is an area on the lid that is rubbed and some of the gold is lost.
