A Korean Rare/Fine Celadon Inlaid Foliate Decagonal Shallow Dish: Korea, Koryo period, 12th -13th Century, This shallow dish is a very rare with foliaged rim, each lobe has a black and white slip inlaid with chrysanthemum flower head on the exterior, and the interior is molded with a central flower head medallion surrounded by a lobed design. Japanese Arita Blue and White Jug, the slender body decorated with a stylised landscape. C1680/1700 Height 22.5cm. Condition: slight wear to tip of spout, rim and top of handle from original metal mount. Shallow chip to inside of footrim 2.0cm. No other chips, cracks or restoration.

Rare Yixing Hexagonal Tea Caddy and Cover, the sides finely moulded with flowering prunus on a diaper ground. Chinese 18thC. Height 16.6cm. Condition: four minor shallow frits to rim of caddy; no cracks, chips or restoration.

However, this one is much more thinly potted, and its decoration, with a Phoenix in the center, is executed even more lavishly than on # 396. A pair of Burmese wooden seated disciples, with calm facial expression, lacquered and gilded with inlay of colorful glass pieces on the borders of the robes, one of them sitting in adoration posture with two hands attached to each other indicating respectful manner. Traces of original lacquer and gilding remain in excellent condition.

A very richly decorated Famille Noire jar. ( Famille Noire is actually Famille Verte with a black background.) There is not only a pair of peacocks, there are also cranes, ducks and flying birds and a lot of Lotus flowers and plants. Apocryphal underglaze blue Ming mark. Probably 19th. century or older. On the base of the jar is an old inventory Number which probably indicates that the piece comes from an old German collection. H : 26,8 cm. Condition : Perfect

Large 19th Century Korean Sharkskin Jang Geom Sword with Silver Overlay. The scabbard is covered in sharkskin and lacquered black over that. The handle is very interesting and is covered in sharkskin underneath the heavy leather wrapping, and over the sharkskin there is a thick brass foil that is hammered to look like sharkskin. This is a unique technique. The end fitting is missing. The crossguard is shaky because there are a few washers missing from the sword...
