This is a cotton textile of the Edo era. This was introduced by Muneyosi Yanagi in the world in the 1900s. And it became very famous after it. It is woven by cotton and silk dyed with natural plant dye beautifully. You can enjoy cotton of Japan by touching it and the delicate change of the thread will be comfortable to your eyes. There are four places patchwork such as figure 1...

A black-glazed ewer was finely mold with a chicken-head on the spout.
The glaze was in greasy-feel condition when time-enduring crackles were yielded.

One(1) French Ormolu gilded bronze Candelabra with four(4) lights, 21 1/2" high, 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" wide-maximum measurement, each have matching separate removable original bobesche, supporting by main reed column on three(3) animal paws on the base. Some gilding is worn in the middle of column area. No damage or restoration.

A large silver tray of oval form with applied scrolling handles. The sloping sides of the salver with repousse decoration in the Turkish baroque style. Tughra and two other marks to either end of the tray, each handle with two hallmarks. Condition: traces of usage, the sides with two short cracks, one old repair with crack near the attachment of one handle (pic. 9). Dimension total: 41.5 cm long x 26.7 cm wide, weight: 760 g.

Song 0r Yuan dynasty longquan celadon jarlet with dragon motive. 6,5cm high. good conditions.

This is a beautiful and rare copper alloy dagger from the Dong Son culture of southeast Asia circa 250 BCE. It has an attractive patina that belies its high tin content alloy. The edges of the blade are chipped as is common for the brittle nature of high tin content bronze objects. The remaining metal appears to be solid and stable with no signs of repair or restoration. The hollow portion of the perforated handle is filled with either soil or wood remains (or both)...

This is a nice copper or copper alloy axe from Northern Iran. It dates to roughly the end of the third millennium BCE. Similar examples can be seen in P.R.S. Moorey Catalog of Ancient Persian Bronzes in the Ashmolean Museum pp 41-43. Axes of this type are commonly attributed either to the broad classification of Luristan or to the Elamite culture. This particular piece weighs 222 grams and measures 8 cm in length. It is 6.5 cm tall and roughly 2.5 cm wide at the top of the socket...

This large and heavy copper alloy axe is from the ancient culture(s) of Northern Iran. The convex cutting edges are perpendicular to each other. It has a vertical shaft hole with a collar/ridge around the bottom. There are some obvious chips to the vertical cutting blade but it is otherwise very solid, stable and complete. Axes such as this one were in use from the late third millennium BCE throughout the second millennium BCE. The larger size indicates a date later in that timeframe...

An antique Japanese vase decorated with children known as karako playing with various toys. The vase contains decorations of Chinese motifs and slight influences of European designs such as the lion heads on the side of the vase. Age: Meiji Period Size: diameter: 3.25" height 7.5"

This porcelain vase was produced in France by Sevres around 1900. It is 6 3/4 inches tall. The porcelain is fired with a deep red flambé type coloring that has mottled black shading. The vase has a high gloss finish. There is an ormolu bronze foot with filigree decoration on the bottom. This vase is a handsome, decorative piece with distinctive style. Condition: Excellent

Superbly executed ceramic monkey eating a berry with a whimsical expression of innocent delight. Chinese Pottery Tomb Lady Figure with partially glazed with amber to brownish robe, and hands tucked under the robe, 10 3/8" high, 2 3/4" wide, 2" deep, light brownish amber color drip glaze robe ran down to the bottom, with unglazed head and bottom feet area with some tiny old rounded chips to larger chip about 1/2" wide on the right upper arm area on the Brownish glaze.

This figure is a flat, pottery warrior statue from the Colima culture in the area of Western Mexico, Tecoman and coastal area, ca. 200 BCE - 200 CE. The style of this unslipped buff figurine is typical of Tecoman and the coastal area. It blends the typical coffee-bean eyes and facial features with a plate-flat body and string arms.
