Nyonya wares are over-glaze polychrome enamelled porcelains made in Jingdezhen in the Kiangsi province of China for the Straits Chinese, or Babas, whose female counterparts are called Nyonyas, hence the term Nyonya ware. Japanese early 20th century iron kettle by KIRYUDO. This pot is done with a pair of crane on a pine tree design in low relief on the front side of the kettle. The handle on the lid is done in the shape of a pine cone. KIRYUDO is done in chop mark on the back side of the kettle along with some other illegible characters. This iron pot measures 9 3/4" tall (from base to top of upright handle), 7 1/2" wide and 7 1/8" deep.

A well forged, handsome mokume tsuba in mokko-gata form with katakiri-bori landscape decoration on both the omote and ura. The mokume grain is large and well controlled reminding one of ayasugi hada. In fact, this tsuba is indeed a tosho (swordsmith's) tsuba, being made by [Kai Ju] Kiyonaga and dated the third year of Bunkyo (1863) believed to be the same as KIY 298 referenced in Hawley's, Japanese Swordsmiths...
Japanese Imari Porcelain Octagonal flared out shape Bowl,
Ca. Meiji period, before 1900, 10 1/4" wide, 4 1/4" high, with Pine and floral design in rich overglaze enamel in 4 separate panels, other 4 panels have fruits with seeds in underglaze blue, all highlighted with brilliant gold throughout inside and outside the bowl. Gold design is worn on top of the rim slightly, no cracks, no restorations, no damages.

Antique Tibetan hand-carved wooden deity mask of Mahakala, a guardian diety, the fierce and powerful being and counterpart to Kali / Mahakali. His name means "Greater than Time" as he upholds ultimate rule and power over all forces, including time and death. This hand carved mask is indeed very fierce looking, with signs of wear and traces of old lacquer all throughout.

Antique Sino-Tibetan gilt bronze statue of the deity Kubera, lord of wealth and protector over the world. He is typically shown holding a bag of jewels or fruit in one of his hands and a mongoose in the other. The mongoose symbolizes Kubera's victory over the Naga, or snake people, who watch over large hoards of treasures. The mongoose is also said to spit out jewels every time it opens its mouth. The statue is sculpted incredibly well, with natural patina and traces of pigments...
Japanese black lacquered woven Bamboo Trunk, Meiji period, early 1900's, 11" high, 25" x 15" wide, with large and heavy black iron handles supported by wooden board on both side, paper lining inside and metal hinges on top to open one side of the top cover. This Bamboo Trunk is good to storing Dolls and other necessary light weight items. There are some black lacquer loses on the surface.
Japanese Kiri wood two(2) section Tansu, Kiri and Cedar chest on chest, Meiji period, before 1900, 42" high, 33" wide, 17" deep with 5 graduated size long drawers, and carved and engraved floral shape black iron back plates have different motif carvings, and black iron handles. Pine wood used in the back and split in some areas caused by dryness and old age, shows wear and tear in original condition, as found condition from Japan.
An incredible Chinese Cizhou ware vase of a meiping form, the elongated oval body decorated in carved floral patterns in a cream crackle glaze, the short trumpet spout flanked by four cascading handles, the foot remains bare without glaze and slightly recessed.
