Delightful Hermes ring/trinket dish from the Art de la Table line. The dish features an Elephant balancing on a ball, a wide gold band and a thin blue band circle the rim of the dish. The dish is footed, and has a backing of suede. The dish is marked on the back with the pattern name "CIRCUS" and the Hermes back stamp, embossed into the suede. Extremely Rare enamelled pottery bowl for Louis Vuitton made by Longwy. In classic Longwy style of raised enamel in classic Louis Vuitton colors of gold and brown, this early mid-century bowl was made as a special edition exclusively for Louis Vuitton. The piece is marked on the back "Specialement edite pour Louis Vuitton par les Emaux de Longwy, Made in France" and "EMAUX DE LONGWY decores A LA MAIN". A rare art deco shallow bowl by the designer Wilhelm Kage (1889-1960) who trained under Henri Matisse. This item was probably produced during the 1940s as part of the "Argenta" range by Gustavsberg, Sweden. Condition -there is surface wear to the silver overlay and there is a chip next to one of the handles and associated light hairline (please see enlargements 6 and 7). 23.5cm (9.25 inches)diameter.

A very early and scarce Arts and Crafts 8" American pottery vase in the Early Velmoss pattern, made by Roseville. This vase features an Arts & Crafts design with leaves; the glaze is a pleasant green with bluish and tan highlights, as well as relief molding. It has the bottom finish typical of this pattern, and it has remnants of the original pencil marks (otherwise this piece is unsigned)...

A rare Staffordshire "Prattware" tea caddy, unusually with original cover. On each side are moulded caricatures of Georgian "society" figures with their servants/attendants. This item was made during the last quarter of the 18th Century, circa 1780-1790. Condition - there are chips to the under side of the cover and the finial has been re-glued. There are some minor surface glaze losses to the edges and the figures. There are no cracks and there has been no restoration. 6.5 inches (16.5cm) high

Piero Fornasetti porcelian dish of the advertising poster for Arturo Toscanini's Concert at La Scala. The dish is gold trimmed and measures 5.25 inches (13 cm) wide and is 8.5 inches (22 cm) and 1 inch (2.5 cm) in height. There is some wear to the gold trim but there are no chips, cracks or repairs. This is an original Fornasetti not a later Rosenthal re-issue. Marked on back with Fornasetti Logo, FORNASETTI-MILANO/MADE IN ITALY, followed by a small gold letter "P". Circa 1951

The wavy edged rim is bordered with garlands of summer flowers, surrounding a central reserve with a hand-painted floral bouquet, all trimmed with fine bands of gilding. An early and beautiful genuine Aesthetic period covered entree dish by Copeland Spode c1870-90. This 14 x 7-3/4" English serving piece has lush gilding, relief handles and branch-style finial and fine handpainting over transfer. It has grape and vine leaves, feeding birds, foliage and a butterfly; it is stamped (faintly) COPELAND with various underglaze numbers and letters and it has painted D9875 markings...

Rookwood Vase mold number 715 D; dated 1895. Painted by Mary Louella Perkins (MLP), who was with Rookwood only 13 years from 1886 to 1898. Mold number 715 designed by William Watts Taylor in 1894 was also available as an Ewer. Several old labels and esoteric marks on the base - one label for Davis Collamore and Co., of NY, around 1884 Davis Collamore was appointed National Sales Agent for Rookwood and remained so until around 1920...

Historical Staffordshire dark blue covered sugar bowl with transfer of Washington at Mount Vernon. Unmarked, early 19th century. Condition: light staining to interior of bowl and some minor glaze roughness; professional restoration to cover, not visible from exterior but showing under black light and with some color variation to the inside of the cover (see photo). Size: 6.5 inches long x 4 inches deep x 5.75 inches high.

Niloak Pottery Missionware vase with swirled colors of red, blue, grey, brown and white. Glazed interior. This pot has the first art pottery mark used from 1910 to 1924. No chips, cracks or repairs; minor surface marks. Vase is in as found condition it has not been washed. Pot measures 5 inches in diameter and is 3 1/2 inches tall.

A very charming wise old OWL! This vase stands 12 inches tall and is 7 inches wide/diameter. The body of the owl is comprised of rough unglazed "feathers" and has glazed shiny highlights. The sides and based are glazed. This exanple is unmarked, but I have had marked versions, all with the Royal Haegar ink stamp. No cracks, chips or repairs, Circa 1960

A Satsuma lobed plate with hand painted chrysanthemums bamboo and a pair of birds circa 1900. This antique small dish measures 5" across and has typical fine gold decoration over the work and a notched or lobed gold trimmed edge. It has a signature on the back, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, scrapes, losses, damage or repairs; it has some fine overall crazing, which is not unusual with Satsuma pottery. Items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use...

Marked "Labrut Freres France" on the back, these two unique plates have adorable graphics of children & animals. On one there is a young boy with a dog & a goat tumbling on top of him. On the other is a boy (with only one shoe & sock) walking with a girl & a dog. The plates have a pattern around the rims & are encircled with faded gold. They both have crazing throughout & are browned from age, but have no chips or cracks...
