A Japan 3 footed pink lustre fruit cup and saucer from the 1930s. This vintage 3" high cup and matching 5-5/8" saucer features a dusty pink ground on the saucer and the outside of the cup, which has a white interior with an oil-puddle like multicolour luster. The highlight is a colourful fruit still life on the saucer and small fruit arrays inside the cup. It has gold trim, three gold painted feet and gold sprigs. This set is in their Byzanta Ware series and depicts trees and flowers in a kaleidoscopic style view on the 9-1/2" console bowl and twin trees on the 7-3/8" tall candlesticks. Vintage covered terrine from France in a beautiful provencal soft yellow color. In wonderful shape with only a small chip on the underside of the handle, does not detract at all from the charm of this piece. Crazing & wear throughout from age & use. Measures approx. 8 inches long, 5-1/2 inches wide & 4-1/2 inches high to top of handle. Stamped on the bottom with the number "6" & the letter "D" and on the underside of the cover with a "0".
